Because the earth produces mindfulness and so on, possessing the distinctions of qualities established by their own nature, it is the power of being born together. Because it is incomparable in three ways, it is uncommon, namely: subtlety, form, and element. Other than that, because it is the same, it is common. How are the six superknowledges established? Either they are established on the premise of complete purity of body, speech, and mind, or they are established by the power of superknowledges. Giving and so on, because they hold the nature of cause and effect, should be spoken of in this way. Their blessings are called power. Moreover, this power should be understood from four aspects: eliminating unfavorable factors, the distinction of completely maturing accumulations, taking care of oneself and others, and the distinction of future results. The magical abilities of the Shravakas are established through manifestation and the means of going and coming. Furthermore, the magical abilities of the Bodhisattvas are established through manifestation and transformation, in order to show extremely profound and vast meanings. After completely transforming, one enjoys it. Because it can accomplish, it has the ability to transform existing and possessed things into other distinctions, which is complete transformation. In terms of the meaning of producing things that did not exist before, it is manifestation. In short, because it can completely transform four kinds of things, it is complete transformation, namely: the vessel world as appropriate, the sentient world, the four great elements of earth, water, fire, and wind, and the matter transformed from the four great elements. The sentient world should also be understood as two distinctions from the perspective of self and others. The vessel world should also be understood from the distinctions of cities, villages, continents, iron mountains, and the boundaries of the world. The distinctions of the aspects of the magical abilities of complete transformation should be understood from the sutras included in the sutra pitaka. The shaking, burning, and so on mentioned in the sutras are displays of the power of the Bodhisattvas. The image of things that are naturally free from shaking

The act of causing movement in all directions is called shaking. This power is jointly taught by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, hence it is referred to as the miraculous power of the Tathagata or one who has attained mastery over the mind. Bodhisattvas are also distinguished from those who have not attained mastery, etc., therefore it is said, "having attained mastery over samadhi." The distinction of that itself is called the mind being workable. In order to show the gradual increase of shaking, it is said, "temples also shake," etc. Saying "field" means including the vicinity of towns and cities. These lands, beings, the world of the four continents, etc., should be understood as having immeasurable shaking, etc., due to their differences. The body can also radiate light, which in brief has two aspects: showing the twin miracle and the difference of abiding. Showing the twin miracle also has two aspects: having burning and having rainfall. Showing the twin miracle is also seen as descending from the pores of extremely fine hairs. From the difference of abiding, having entered into the fire element samadhi, the whole body will burn, and until the burning becomes one, various colors of light will also be emitted from the body. Pervading means wanting to spread and pervade only with light. Speaking in terms of gradual increase, therefore it is said, "as before," etc. The way of showing various forms or showing special forms is called manifestation. With this, by the power of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, all the assembled beings can also see forms that are far beyond the realm of miraculous powers, this is called manifestation. Gathering and abiding in comfort means the meaning of arriving in comfort and gathering and abiding nearby. These will show the function of seeing and seeing as it is, and seeing without effort. In order to show that one can equally see the excellent and the non-excellent, the difference is shown. Regarding going
