From afflictions arise all cycles of existence, and these cycles are also unified by suffering, thus causing suffering to arise and enter. In this way, it is temporarily shown that suffering arises from the root of conceptualization. To show that the cessation of conceptualization leads to the cessation of suffering, it is said, "When," and so on. By abandoning conceptualization, elaboration ceases, so one will not remain in cyclic existence. By the distinction of manifestly engaging in the means to fully ripen the Dharma of the Buddhas and sentient beings, one will also not remain in nirvana. Such is the non-abiding nirvana of the Great Vehicle, which is complete nirvana. The suchness that is the sphere of activity of the wisdom that has completely purified the obscurations of knowledge is the supreme meaning of suchness. The wisdom that has made that its sphere of activity is the wisdom that is completely liberated from the obscurations of knowledge. That complete purification should be understood by taking it up from the eighth ground onwards. In short, obtaining mastery over all things is with respect to external objects and internal self. Thus, one also obtains mastery over external objects in two ways: generating objects that do not exist, such as various emanations; and transforming existing objects into others, such as various transformations. There are also two types of internal self: being able to remain for as long as one wishes by blessing one's lifespan, which is indicated by "remaining for as long as one wishes." Joyfully and delightedly, having examined as one wishes, one has mastery over death without harm, abandoning life merely as one wishes. Therefore, it is said, "Also, joyfully and delightedly transferring at death without harm." A bodhisattva who has obtained mastery over all things becomes the chief of all sentient beings. Thus, how are the five benefits of taking such a masterly bodhisattva as the chief shown? Even if afflictions are not completely pacified, that complete pacification, by which one abides in the supreme state, surpasses the shravakas and others who have pacified afflictions.

These benefits of non-existence will arise. For all fields of knowledge, the wisdom that penetrates the ultimate of knowledge, which the Hearers and others do not have but obtain, is also a benefit of this. Samsara and sentient beings suffer from inverted behavior, and one does not become weary of the benefit of all defiled sentient beings, and because of the excellence of wisdom with mindfulness, all Tathagatas are able to skillfully enter into all languages. Because of the very nature of non-retrogression, aspiration will not be obstructed. Even if refuted by all opponents, it cannot be obstructed, therefore one will not abandon the effort that has been initiated. Therefore it is said, "Not relying on others" means not following the words of others. Possessing these benefits, one will perform these beneficial actions. First, by abiding in the extraordinary bliss of the Dharma that is seen without defilement, this itself is the benefit of pacifying the mind. Similarly, by abiding in the peace without defilement, four kinds of actions should be performed: for the sake of one's own benefit, one's own continuum is fully matured. Because it is said, "All the Buddha's teachings are fully matured." For the sake of others, it is to fully mature the continuum of others, because it is said, "To fully mature sentient beings." Being skilled in words with intention, one holds the sacred Dharma. It should be distinguished: cutting off all doubts that arise and have arisen in all sentient beings, and causing the lineage of the Three Jewels to continue without interruption. By listening to the Sutras spoken by the Tathagata, and by the act of holding and retaining them, one should listen completely, hold them correctly, and abandon unfavorable factors in order to abide for a long time, as has been taught. What is called a counterfeit of the sacred Dharma is an image of the sacred Dharma, such as from the deception of the basis as taught. Moreover, what is called causing the doctrine to decline is to obstruct the doctrine and cause it to enter.

Oh! That is not the true Dharma, but rather an image of the true Dharma, being the side that is inconsistent with it. To fully understand is to completely cut off. Similarly, to speak to others is to show. Having fully understood and abandoned in this way is to remove. Its inconsistent aspect is spoken by others, refuting is the fourth action. Not considering others, the practice of not stealing, not abandoning, therefore one will possess steadfast diligence and possess steadfast aspirations. To show that all the actions of Bodhisattvas belong to these categories, it is said, whatever actions of Bodhisattvas, etc. To show that the difference between these four suchnesses lies in the inferior, the intermediate, and the supreme, it is said, the two are inferior, because they are the realm of worldly knowledge, and are not the antidote to afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge. The intermediate is, because it is without outflows, and is the antidote to the obscuration of afflictions. Because it is the antidote to both obscurations, the fourth is supreme. In the Bodhisattva Bhumi, the chapter on the meaning of Suchness is explained, the fourth chapter is complete. Seeing such a meaning, one will become without afflictions, therefore one will obtain the method of not being weary, after that the power will be shown. The power of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is inconceivable, because it is very profound and vast. By five reasons, power is considered inconceivable, because it completely transcends all sentient beings, transcends all worldly metaphors, merely the mind, having done the work of well distinguishing those powers, and being completely related, and the mind of the unmeditative ground is difficult to accomplish, and is completely related to the mind of the meditative ground. In short, the power of Bodhisattvas should be understood as three types, namely the power of clairvoyance of Bodhisattvas who have obtained mastery over samadhi, which is vast and wide.
