It should be understood, because perfect enlightenment is extremely superior. These signs indicate having lineage, therefore they are signs of lineage. Furthermore, its sign is the preceding sign of generosity and other perfections. Therefore, it is called the sign of perfection. From generosity onwards to wisdom, accomplishing truly with body, speech, and mind, that is called a sign. Moreover, these are the nature of generosity and so on, and one should understand as much as possible what is in accordance with generosity and so on. Therefore, the signs of perfection should be briefly established, namely generosity, enjoyment, the door of accumulation, and being in control of what is obtained. Among these, generosity is also of two kinds: dependent on things and not dependent on things. Among these, the perfection dependent on things is giving away one's own things in order to completely take others, which is the cause of showing the body. Furthermore, generosity is also of two kinds: belonging to oneself and belonging to others. The generosity that belongs to oneself is a sign of diligently striving with intention and action. Among these, the so-called "naturally fond of generosity" indicates diligently striving with intention, that is, with the action of constantly and continuously completely giving up all things by nature. Manifesting joy in generosity is being fond of generosity. The so-called "constantly and continuously distributing to others" explains the generosity of giving repeatedly. The so-called "giving with a very joyful mind" indicates that under the control of generosity, giving with a very joyful mind in the three times indicates giving with a very joyful mind. The so-called "distributing even from a small amount" refers to giving at all times and difficult giving. Practicing good generosity is not practicing inferior generosity. Furthermore, this should be understood as three types: not giving after repeated consideration and fighting; not giving inferior and small things despite having good and many things; excellent

Not giving what one has but is very inferior. Feeling ashamed of not giving alms is because there are no beggars, and when no one begs, a true pain arises in the heart, feeling ashamed. Because I have little merit, my possessions have become fruitless, like the fruits of trees in a thorn thicket, unable to be used for enjoyment. Thus, for the time being, the sign of giving alms, which is characterized by giving up one's own possessions, is shown. In order to show the sign that I also diligently strive for alms belonging to others, for "other people" and so on, from the perspective of alms, four types of people should be understood: those who are completely ignorant and universally deluded about the merits and praises of alms, the negligent, the discouraged, and those who have fully entered the state. For those who are universally deluded, by fully showing and telling the merits and praises of alms, they are correctly guided, and in order to make them practice alms, the praises of alms are proclaimed. For the negligent and discouraged, in order to make them correctly practice alms and praise, they are made to generate intention. For those who have fully entered the state, in order to make them generate great joy, even seeing someone who can give alms, they will feel happy and content, this is how it is told. Thus, for the time being, it is shown to give up the possessions that one owns and has, in order to show the sign of giving alms of the items that have already been enjoyed, so there are "gurus" and so on. Among them, the gurus in the lay aspect are the mother and father. The gurus in the monastic aspect are the Khenpo and Acharyas. For the elders, in the lay aspect, it refers to the elders by lineage. In the monastic aspect, it refers to the possessions of a Bhikshu with the virtue of celibacy. The so-called "objects of offering" in the lay aspect refer to the Shramanas and Brahmins who possess discipline, possess merit, and possess virtuous Dharma. In the monastic aspect, it refers to those who hold the Dharma of realization and the Dharma of scripture, those who possess wisdom, and those who are included with the virtue of celibacy. Worthy of respect
