Therefore, it is called sentient being, heart essence, sole hero, and difference of a person. Furthermore, in order to clearly show that abiding, obtained by birth, and inseparable from any birth place in that particular place is called lineage. Therefore, the six birth places are taken. Moreover, the virtuous mind and mental factors arising from relying on that particular thing, by generating the mind, one obtains the name of pāramitā. Therefore, one should also speak of the differences of the six birth places. Furthermore, those six birth places themselves, through association with the practice that is obtained by perfecting meditation, when the basis is transformed, as it should be, the establishment of name and form is perfectly established, because it becomes a real thing. Therefore, only the difference of the six birth places is lineage. Moreover, the difference of those is that the realms, destinies, birth places, lands, etc., with the continuous practice, because they go from one life to another, it is said that they come transmitted from one to another. Thus, in any position, it will be shown that the lineage is not interrupted. Thus, although the difference of the six birth places is transmitted from one to another, sometimes it is interrupted in some, for example, hell beings and gods, those who have the six birth places of touch, when experiencing the feeling of unwanted and wanted, it becomes the basis for that, and the continuum of such behavior is interrupted. Those that are not like that are called beginningless time, which means not having a previous limit. Thus, it shows immeasurable time. Because it is established by its own nature, it is obtained by the nature of Dharma, which means it is not created by anyone, and it means the future. Also, because it is transmitted from one to another, it is beginningless time. Because it is beginningless time, it is obtained by the nature of Dharma, thus it shows the latter as the result of the former. What is called obtained from previously habituating virtuous roots means that it is born from the power of the virtuous roots that were first generated, whether the lineage is determined, or the lineage is not determined, or it is one that transforms into enlightenment. In this context of meaning,

The desire for both (merit and wisdom) is because possessing both of these, one will become fortunate, powerful, and will realize the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Therefore, both are also the basis. Having thus shown the establishment of the nature of lineage, its synonyms will be shown, because some will manifest. That is, because it is the source of transcendent Dharma, it is lineage. Because it is the cause of its arising, it is seed. Because it holds the fruit that is in accordance with itself, it is element. Because it is not artificial, it is called nature. This is showing the difference of synonyms. The fruit that is not yet truly accomplished is simply the fruit that has not been apprehended. Moreover, the fruit is a sign of lineage, or it should be known as a sign of a Bodhisattva. Similarly, the state where there is no clear sign is difficult to know, difficult to discern, and difficult to ascertain, and is called subtle part. The opposite of that is vast, because the fruit is closely apprehended. Alternatively, naturally abiding is subtle, because it is only distinguished by the difference of the six sense bases. Truly accomplished is vast, because it is accomplished by the difference of effort. In order to show that this lineage is superior to the Shravaka lineage and so forth, in "those who possess the Bodhisattva lineage," etc., "all" refers to taking the Shravakas as primary. Even the chief of the Shravakas, or like the horn of a Pratyekabuddha, because they do not have those differences, they will necessarily transcend them and enter. What need is there to mention all others? This is showing that it is far beyond other worldly people. Therefore, it is called unsurpassed, because there is nothing higher than it. Why is that? This is a question asked because one cannot bear that the Bodhisattva lineage is superior, because the lineage of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas is also the cause of liberation, and there is no difference in liberation, so lineage.

It is thought that everything is equal because of equality. In order to show the unsurpassed distinction by the cause of pure and unique distinction. Affliction itself is an obscuration, hence it is the obscuration of affliction, because it possesses the ignorance of affliction, it hinders the arising of virtuous Dharma, which is the antidote to itself. Knowable itself is an obscuration, hence it is the obscuration of knowable, because it possesses the non-afflictive ignorance, the knowable itself is the same as it, that is, it surpasses the knowledge other than the wisdom of the Buddhas. Therefore, it is praised: Your one wisdom, knows all the knowable without exception, surpasses all others than you, the knowledge of the knowable. Thus, the fruit of the Hearers and so on is the body of liberation, and the fruit of solitary Nirvana, this is for the sake of showing. The fruit of the Bodhisattvas is the three bodies, and the fruit of non-abiding Nirvana. Therefore, it should be known to possess unsurpassed distinction, and again, those distinctions are known at the time of fruition. Moreover, by the words "other" etc., the differences arising from lineage in the beginning, middle and end are shown. The so-called "arising from the senses" is the difference arising from the senses. Thus, all differences become those with differences. The difference arising from the senses should be known by those who have not generated the mind. The benefit of the Hearers and so on is the abandonment of all afflictions, and the extreme abandonment, and the knowledge of the four noble truths that can obtain it. Thus, they enter at the time of entering their own vehicle, desiring the fruit of Nirvana in a state free from suffering, because of few activities, small fruit, self-satisfaction, self-taming, self-pacification, and self-Nirvana. The self-benefit of the Bodhisattvas is also twofold, namely two kinds of wisdom and two kinds of abandonment, because it belongs to their own continuum. Other
