However, in order to show that one should strive to abandon that thought, it is said, "For the sake of abandoning." Here, in all actions, one should also accomplish correctly in two ways. "Benefiting" means that for those who previously performed benefits, one abides by benefiting them in return through knowing what has been done. In order to repay the kindness, one dwells closely with equality or exceeding, and for all actions of benefiting, speaking with the main need as the primary consideration, the thought should also be completely fulfilled, which is without fault, and also has the ability, and is completely fulfilled. Therefore, it is said, "Do what you can," even if you don't have the ability, for that action, in order to show the corresponding thought and effort, know that it is not that you don't want to do it, but only that you don't have the ability. Thus, for the time being, towards sentient beings who possess virtues, possess faults, benefit, and harm, one correctly accomplishes with thought and effort. After showing this, for the things themselves as shown, in order to separately accomplish the Middle Way of the existing side and the non-existing side, if it has not yet been accomplished, then what is the reason? It is said that one wants to establish it with the reasoning of establishing the reason. Here, among the four reasonings, wanting to be the reasoning of establishing the reason is what was previously shown, summarized by the three valid cognitions. All phenomena are inexpressible, then by what cause can they be completely determined? In order to show by reasoning, one should know that it is merely imputed. These things are merely completely imputed. For completely clarifying the essence, it is merely imputation. Therefore, it is said, it is neither the essence, nor is it different from it. The so-called imputation, for that thing, it does not exist as its essence, nor is it outside of it. It is merely the unreal completely imputed. After doing that, those dharmas do not exist in the way that children impute them. Otherwise, it is the completely established form.

Therefore, to show that it exists, it is said (in the scriptures): It is not that it does not exist in all of everything. In this way, it shows that the Middle Way, which abandons the two extremes, exists. If, according to the way it is shown, it is neither existent nor non-existent, then in what way does it exist? To show this, it is said (in the scriptures): How does it exist? This means that taking as a sign the nature of something that does not exist by its own nature, and imputing and wrongly grasping, and abandoning, is imputing to something that does not exist. This itself is incorrect, because it is the nature of the completely imputed. The nature of the completely imputed is also shown as different names such as inverted grasping. Saying "incorrect" is to clearly show attachment. To say "completely non-existent" to things that have become the object of expression, and as the reason for establishment, is slander. This itself is incorrect, as before. In this way, it is shown that the form that is free from the two extremes of imputation and slander exists. So, by what will such existence be cut off? To show this, because it is grasped by decisive knowledge, it is possible to obtain severance through knowledge. In "non-discrimination,"

That is called "thing." Or, the nature of complete accomplishment is taught as "dharma," because it holds its own characteristics. Among the five things, whatever is the cause is called "thing," because it becomes the place of manifest expression. Or, it is called "dharma" because it shows that it exists in substance. Because it relies on name and discrimination, it is called "thing." If it becomes its own essence, then it is called "is," because the essence of speech is the essence of definite and certain examination, meaning the nature of the words of manifest expression. In relation to the nature of dharma, it is called "various." In relation to the nature of things, it is called "becoming many." Thus, one dharma obtains the self of many natures, because it is expressed in various ways, because there are many differences in place and time. For the same thing, due to the difference of time, various expressions will arise, which is due to the power of the virtue of determining many categories of words for those people. If others say that even if it is to be expressed by many, only the expresser can definitely grasp its nature, and others cannot. Therefore, it is said: "The remaining additional words are not," and so on. Like this, there is no certainty in manifestly expressing a thing with a single assigned expression, that is, whatever is used to express a thing will become its own essence, and others will not, there is no certainty, because there is no difference in cause, so everything will obtain its essence and its nature. If this is done, then it is difficult to eliminate the fault of becoming many natures. If it is said that it is different from others, then it is also different from one, because there is no difference in cause. Therefore, it is said: "Therefore, all assigned words," and so on. If that is the case, then for the time being, discrimination will become two kinds. Because it is the self of many expressions, it will also become many, all expressions
