is contrary to attainment. Those also rejoice in samsara because of ego-grasping and craving, fear nirvana, and, seeing the faults of samsara, desire to quickly be free from desire, therefore they meditate on nirvana, seeing nirvana as peace, and single-mindedly focus on it and tend towards it. Because it is the antidote to those, it is a great means. That which becomes the means for those is also because wisdom and compassion mutually accord with each other. Wisdom sees the faults of samsara and the peace of nirvana. Even so, by the power of compassion, they do not completely abandon samsara, nor do they manifest nirvana. Or, the state of non-abiding nirvana itself, with such wisdom, the bodhisattva will abide in non-abiding nirvana, not abiding in samsara like sentient beings who abide in samsara, nor abiding in nirvana like the Shravakas and others. Therefore, they do not abandon the benefit of sentient beings due to the suffering and afflictions of samsara, nor do they manifest nirvana. Therefore, the wisdom that makes those states equal is a great means. When that wisdom is greatly combined with maturing sentient beings and the Buddhadharma, they also truly know the suffering of samsara. Thus, knowing suffering, they also truly know samsara. Having fully known, they do not strive to accomplish detachment, nirvana, and liberation, because they possess the combination of maturing both. If so, then why not see the qualities of samsara from the beginning? Therefore it is said: If to "samsara is true," etc., because of rejoicing in samsara, one will be stained by the faults of samsara. If one is stained by faults, one will not be able to accomplish one's own benefit. Therefore, one will fall into the previous fault. Because one has completely abandoned afflictions, one's mind is on samsara

Those who, due to youth, have strong remorse in their minds will quickly enter into complete nirvana. If one thus enters nirvana without remainder, then the two kinds of maturation will greatly decline. It is said: Regarding "the Buddha's teachings," etc., faith in emptiness means abiding in the emptiness of the grasper and the grasped. Even if a Bodhisattva does not directly realize nirvana, they will not be afraid of nirvana, because their mind has gone to nirvana. Otherwise, the Buddha's teachings and the maturation of sentient beings here will also not be attained. Therefore, it is said: "The collection will not be complete," which indicates its cause. The so-called "fearful mind" means that a fearful mind is not because of seeing benefits, and without seeing benefits, the extra faith that has previously seen the benefits of nirvana will become without joy. Therefore, it is shown that its collection will not be complete. One whose mind is manifestly gathered by qualities is called aspiration, because effort is in attaining it. That which is on the side of disagreement is not a method, and that which is on the side of remedy is a method, this is to show that. Regarding "cyclic existence as it is," etc., it is to show that the four methods as previously stated, summarized by the selflessness of phenomena, are dependent on it. That method also depends on this faith in emptiness, meaning that if it exists, this will exist. The so-called "entering for a long time" refers to the wisdom that will enter to the end of the ten grounds, by which all the proliferation of conceptualization has been abandoned. The so-called "any dharma" refers to the range from form to nirvana. The so-called "in any way" refers to the essence or difference, or any other distinction of conceptualization. Like this, with this wisdom free from conceptualization, one merely grasps the entity that has become the object of expression.

Na (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, literal Chinese meaning) is the first of the five bases (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, literal Chinese meaning). The so-called "only thusness" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, literal Chinese meaning) refers to the state of complete purity. Alternatively, in order to explain seeing only the object itself, it is called holding "only thusness." For the object of suchness, do not even discriminate it as its object itself, because it is free from all discrimination. Therefore, practicing the ultimate truth that abandons all elaborations is to attain dwelling in the absence of characteristics. In order to show that many benefits arise from such practice, in "equal to equality," etc., the first ground is universally walking, discriminating with each own nature, so that suchness becomes one, and seeing all dharmas as equal, that is, for all dharmas and all sentient beings, one will attain equanimity with an equal mind of compassion, because there is no difference and various distinctions. For things that have distinctions, there is no equal mind. If this is done, by possessing the equality of mind, one will attain non-afflictive equanimity. Without afflictions, one can also master all fields of knowledge, and can also accomplish non-afflictions. In accomplishing, because there are no afflictions, one will not be turned back by all suffering and all fatigue. If one has afflictions, one will be harmed by fatigue and will become painful. Like this, the ultimate of a non-afflicted body and mind will become complete. These are to show the merit of great learning. These are spoken based on the accumulation of conditions. The so-called "one will also obtain the great power of increasing memory" refers to the knowledge that is correctly gathered by hearing.
