It is the discrimination of grasper and grasped. From that which becomes the root, the cycle of existence arises, which is elaboration. The reason for those is becoming the root. In terms of its own nature, for example: from form to consciousness. In terms of the discrimination of grasping, from eye to mind. In terms of the discrimination of the grasped, from earth to touch, uniting the form of the support and the supported, it is shown as the grasped itself. In terms of difference, speaking of discrimination, from virtue to the unconditioned. In terms of the discrimination of visible phenomena and future lives, it is said, "This world," and so on. In terms of the discrimination of day and night, it is said, "These two, the sun and the moon." In terms of the discrimination of terminology, it is said, "Seeing," and so on. In terms of thoroughly examining with wisdom, it is said, "Obtaining and completely seeking," and so on. Even "that" refers to nirvana where all elaboration is exhausted. Even so, in order to closely embrace childish minds and show that it is the nature of discrimination, "by saying what is imputed as similar to that" means establishing through names and symbols. "Worldly" means showing the nature that is completely imputed by childish beings. "The nature of non-existence" means that the first of the five things to be thoroughly negated is called "the nature of non-existence." In this way, it becomes the elimination of the object of name-discrimination. By negating the power of others from the three natures, it is the nature of signlessness. Therefore, it is said, "In all of all the supports of what is called imputation, there is nothing." By negating the object that relies on what is called imputation and relies on the words of what is manifestly spoken, therefore, in all of all, it is neither non-existent nor existent. If it is said that in all of all, it is merely imputation, merely terminology, then those would become slandering even mere terminology. In this way, signlessness becomes dependent.

It will only obtain a mere designation without a name. This is neither desired by worldly people nor does it arise from the scriptures. In short, designation should be established in three ways: the distinction of designation by the differences of assembly, cause, and occasion. Among these, whatever possesses assembly is with characteristics. Likewise, those designated as form, etc., will also become real. If it does not exist, then it is not recognized as a designation. In this way, it will be concluded that all things do not exist, and it will ultimately become merely a nihilistic view. The so-called "compendium of the characteristics of Dharma" means that all dharmas are thoroughly distinguished by selflessness. In this way, that thing is non-dual, and because it is separated from duality, it is the Middle Way. To show the very separation from duality, the so-called "abandoning the two extremes" is the first aspect as stated above, which is to say that it exists, which is the first extreme. To say that even the thing itself does not exist is the second extreme. Abandoning these two is abandoning the two extremes. Possessing the characteristics of being formless, un-demonstrable, etc., is unsurpassed. Again, to show that this very suchness is the object of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas themselves, because they have the power to thoroughly distinguish all knowable things. Because they have reached the end of the knowable, and because they have entered the end of the knowable and possess diligence and effort. The Buddhas are extremely pure, because they possess the attainment of the ultimate end of the ground. The Bodhisattvas, on the other hand, thoroughly distinguish the superior discipline, etc., in the ten grounds of learning, which are encompassed by the three trainings. The so-called "in this" refers to that very suchness. Thus, it will be shown that the Buddhas have completely pure and completely perfect wisdom, while the Bodhisattvas have incompletely pure and completely perfect wisdom. The wisdom is also a great skillful means, because it has become the opponent of non-skillful means. Non-skillful means also has four aspects, namely, the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment.
