It should be established in this way. Because the antidote to the afflictions of the three realms has manifested, through the yoga that is free from all outflows, knowing things as they truly are, whatever happiness arises from this is called the happiness of perfect enlightenment. Abandonment and wisdom are perfect enlightenment. Both of these are called happiness because they are definitely liberated from suffering. In order to establish the five kinds of happiness, it is said, "Among them, the happiness of cause," and so on. The four that are the cause of feeling are also established as happiness because they are the cause of happiness. But it is not established by their own nature, such as "not happiness" and "the appearance of the Buddha is happiness." Feeling happiness is called self-nature happiness because it is the characteristic of experience and because it does not arise from a cause. The so-called "non-causal thing" means that happiness does not have a cause, but is merely the separation from suffering. Therefore, that happiness does not have a cause, nor is it self-nature, because it is not the self-nature of feeling. However, happiness is nominally imputed only to the nature of the cessation of suffering. Therefore, in the phrase "suffering is pacified," the meaning of "suffering is pacified" is "better than suffering." Also, because it is abandoned in all times and places, it is pacified, and diminishing is eliminating. The happiness of the cessation of feeling is not like the three kinds of happiness just mentioned. However, if suffering and happiness are truly felt, it is called suffering because it is the suffering of formation. The nature of liberation from these is called ultimate happiness through temporary yoga. Therefore, it is said, "Whatever feeling," etc. "Whatever" indicates the three feelings. Among them, the feeling of suffering is because its nature is the opposite, and it is the suffering of suffering, and the feeling of happiness is also completely transformed.

Suffering itself is suffering because it is a combination of change. Neither suffering nor happiness is combined with happiness without combination, because it is the suffering of formation itself, so it is suffering. Similarly, all feelings are called suffering. The happiness of ultimate perfect enlightenment is ultimate, because it is permanently liberated from suffering, it is the ultimate of all happiness. In terms of the remainder of the aggregates, in "all aspects of afflictions" and so on, "aspects of afflictions" are the afflictions of the three realms. "Inappropriate place" refers to the seed of afflictions. "Existing in dependence" means truly existing in consciousness. "Completely disappeared" means completely cut off, which is the so-called happiness of liberation. The other three kinds of happiness, because they are in accordance with the happiness of perfect enlightenment, are called harmless happiness, and are named after it. In order to show its consistency, the following words are shown. Because it is the cause of harmless happiness, it is shown as harmless happiness. Similarly, through the cause itself, the nature itself, the cessation of suffering itself, and the ultimate itself, the distinction of the five kinds of happiness will be shown. When it was shown earlier, it also showed the four kinds of self-other benefit Dharma that were correctly accepted through other distinctions. Therefore, by gathering through the aspects of bad words, one should not be close to sentient beings, nor should one truly combine oneself. In order to show this, it is said that in "Bodhisattva" and so on, "the aspect of benefit" means that the ripening result of the next life is happiness. "The aspect of non-harm" means that the ripening result of the future will be suffering. Because it becomes the cause of affliction, it is accompanied by faults. Therefore, its fruit is also undesirable, so it should not be pursued again. Even if one enters the happiness of the unprofitable aspect, these sentient beings have not entered the benefit of this life and the next life, but have entered meaningless things.

It is appropriate to distinguish with wisdom. For these, sentient beings should be prevented, and if there is the ability to prevent them from this by speaking words of disapproval and revealing faults, effort should be made. For the second Dharma that is properly accepted, if it is beneficial, it should not be abandoned, and even if temporary suffering and displeasure arise, it should be accomplished for sentient beings by any means, according to one's ability. In order to show this, it is said, "Relying on the all-knowing," and so on. For this, when preventing sentient beings from the first accepted unwholesome thing, even if temporary suffering and displeasure arise, they should be approached and taught. If Bodhisattvas want to give happiness, why do they want to remove the present happiness and inflict suffering? The answer is: the accomplishment of happiness accompanied by suffering, and so on. Both accomplishing benefit with suffering and preventing harm with happiness should be for the sake of accomplishing long-term happiness in the future. Therefore, it should also be recognized that these are also accomplishing happiness. Whoever wants to benefit sentient beings should actually know that they want happiness, because benefit is related to happiness, and happiness is not abandoned when it is fully accomplished. With such a thought, through the power of action, it is said, "The one who gives benefit," and so on, in order to show the fruit related to the cause. Therefore, just as benefit is like a cause, and so on, benefit is the cause, and future happiness is the fruit. Therefore, those who follow benefit should recognize that they are following the happiness that has become the fruit. The seen Dharma and that which is other than it refer to the fruit of the seen Dharma and the future fruit. These four should be accomplished together, that is, permanently in this life or in other lives, and temporary activities and other harmless things, without the need for consideration, must.
