will create sinful actions. That will harm the enemies who cut them off. Having these three causes, laziness will arise from not liking the good side. Having it, one will become distracted because the mind is scattered outwards. Having distraction, one will become ignorant and inferior. Therefore, these six dharmas are the places that cut off perfect enlightenment, because they will become the opposite of the accumulation of merit and wisdom, which are the dharmas that attain enlightenment. In this way, the order of the unfavorable side is to establish the order of the favorable side. The reason for not establishing the order of the remaining four besides that is to show that they are all included in these, and therefore it is said. That is not the perfection of the other shore, and so on. Giving away resources goes first, and one will truly uphold the precepts, therefore it is said: If one is not attached to enjoyment, one will abandon worldly desires and truly uphold the precepts. Guarding the precepts will lead to enduring the harm done by others, therefore it is said: If one respects the precepts, and so on. In this way, truly upholding and guarding will lead to rejoicing in the good side that has pure precepts, and not in the unfavorable side, therefore it is said: Not arising and not being interrupted, and so on. In this way, initiating diligence is to go to the end with vigilance. With a focused mind, one will touch happiness. In this way, having an equal mind will give rise to knowing what is to be known as it is, therefore it is said: If one has an equal mind in that way, and so on. In this way, whatever is the nature of skillfulness is skillful with wisdom, because with wisdom one can see the uncontaminated that should be seen, just as one knows and sees from other places. In short, the fruits of giving and so on are twofold: obtaining perfect enjoyment and obtaining a perfect body. Their causes are giving and discipline.

The discipline is pure in order. Moreover, discipline, together with other virtues, accomplishes a body endowed with five perfections, as it is said. "That which is not," and so on. Obtaining the substance of a particularly excellent Sugata body, such as longevity, is the first perfection, and its cause is discipline. Such a body is also properly combined with the side of virtue, and therefore endures suffering, endures sorrow, and because one can bear the harm done by others, endures harming, and because one does not like harming others. Not harming, these perfections are the cause of the three aspects of patience. This is the second. Because my body possesses such a body, one becomes clad in the armor of steadfast effort in all that is undertaken, this is the third. Moreover, it arises from the cause of cultivating diligence in other lifetimes. Thus, one possesses the cultivation of steadfast diligence. Because all conduct that is incompatible with the proper union with virtue becomes inferior, and because afflictions are small, the mind is able to practice its antidote, and therefore manifest knowledge is quickly attained, this is the fourth. It also arises from the cause of meditation and samadhi. Thus, because afflictions have become small, one is able to enter into many meanings, which is called vast wisdom. Being able to enter into profound meanings is called a wise person. The mind quickly enters into that, which is called virtuous. These arise from the cause of wisdom cultivated in other lifetimes, this is the fifth. Thus, the order of perfections is the order of results. Because it is included in the three trainings, it is said, "In that, the four perfections," and so on. Becoming an aggregate of higher training in discipline is generosity, because it shows that if one does not care for enjoyment, one can properly uphold discipline. Discipline itself is the essence. Patience is the retinue. For the sake of completely guarding discipline, harming others

So it is. Guarding everything is diligence, because it has the task of abandoning and preventing the non-virtues that are contrary to diligence from arising. Thus, from having retinues to having protection, the perfection of discipline shows the training of higher discipline. The perfection of meditation is the nature of the training of higher mind. The perfection of wisdom is called the training of higher wisdom. With the determination that "there are three trainings," there is no higher teaching than this path of training. Thus, in terms of the bodhisattvas' training, the six perfections are established. In order to accomplish the four main tasks, four practices are shown, because there are many practices, the truth is also gathered here. Therefore it is said: "In short, it is these four," and so on. The commentary on the fourth chapter of conduct from the final place of the Bodhisattva Ground Yoga Place is completed. The thirteenth of the establishment is the establishment of the Tathagata, which is the abiding of the Buddha's teachings as the basis and the dependent, and it should be known that they abide in them and by them. In the establishment of the ground, it is the ultimate ground, which is the Buddha's teachings, because it is completely perfect and completely pure. Thus, the Buddha's teachings are the Buddha's abode and the Buddha's ground, and there is no other establishment except for these dharmas. These should be established as the nature of the basis and the dependent, because they are uncommon, they are called the Buddha's teachings. Because it is impossible for others to have such things. The thirty-two marks are praised in the world, because they are derived from the Vedas as "like hearing." Starting from the bottom of the soles of the feet, in order to show the establishment of the marks, it is said, "The feet are extremely level," which means that the soles of both feet are level.
