Sarva is complete. Obtaining the ten grounds of Dharmata-samata. Among them, the small and medium ones are established by completely purifying the land. Therefore, it is said, "Obtaining the ten grounds of Dharmata-samata." Establishing in accordance with the path of suppressing the land in the form of the great, therefore it is said, "Because those are great," and so on. As it appears in the sutra, and so on. As it appears in the sutra, the words of the sutra should be taken and explained. O sons of the Victorious Ones, when a Bodhisattva on the fifth Bodhisattva ground has completely perfected the path, he enters the sixth Bodhisattva ground. He enters through the ten Dharmata-samata. What are the ten? They are: All dharmas are without characteristics, equality. To explain its meaning, it means: In the ultimate sense, all dharmas have the equality of being without characteristics of the completely empty nature, and the ultimate nature is also the completely accomplished Dharmadhatu. Because consciousness with discrimination cannot make it a characteristic, because it is the object of non-discriminating wisdom. Therefore, by its nature, all dharmas are without characteristics, and all dharmas should be understood as equality. The wisdom that has this object is also recognized in the same way. Others should also be understood in the same way. All dharmas are without nature, equality. To explain its meaning, it means: The inexpressible appearance of manifestation is the equality of being without nature. The inexpressible appearance is the nature of being inexpressible. The appearance of manifestation is the nature of what is grasped by discrimination. Their nature is: Because it is not completely accomplished, it is extreme emptiness. By that nature, all dharmas are without nature. Because they do not exist, there is no self-nature that arises from itself, which is called without nature, the equality of self-nature not arising. All dharmas are not produced from causes, which is called unborn equality, because it is not produced from its own cause, so there is no cessation. Unborn and unceasing is the peace that is extremely tranquil from the very beginning.

It is equality itself. Because the object of the ultimate reality itself is grasped by the correct wisdom that is free from elaboration, all phenomena become the aspect of non-elaboration. Therefore, all phenomena are called the equality of non-elaboration. All phenomena are in taking and discarding. Because they are free from grasping and releasing, it is the equality of being free from manifestation. Because in other migrations, the differences of other aggregates are abandoned, and there is no taking, all phenomena are the nature of being free from action. Because it is the aspect of ultimate peace, it is called being free from the manifestation of taking and discarding. That itself is ultimately free from afflictions by nature, and completely defiled by suffering, so all phenomena are separate from them, therefore it is called the equality of the distinction of solitude. The nature of discrimination is that its characteristic is liberation from things and non-things. The equality like illusion is called the equality like emanation. That itself is the object of non-discriminating wisdom, and the nature of things and non-things is the equality of non-duality. Thus, the meaning of those is explained separately. Remaining in that state, compassion will increase towards sentient beings. Here, the words of the sutra are: When one understands the nature of all phenomena in this way, then even more so, great compassion goes before. The words of the sutra that say, "A strong desire for enlightenment arises," are: "Whoever is the cause of perfecting great compassion." The words for arising and ceasing are: "Observe the arising and ceasing of the world." Among them, arising is the black side, which is the gradual arising of dependent origination, ignorance, and so on. Ceasing is the white side, which is the gradual cessation of ignorance and so on, based on dependent origination. By examining all aspects, it is by ten aspects. By examining dependent origination well, it is examined by that.

The term "knowing" refers to discernment. Therefore, it is said to be "well-knowing." This means making ten kinds of distinctions regarding dependent origination, which should be understood extensively as described in the sutras. Based on understanding dependent origination, the three doors of liberation arise, meaning that by relying on dependent origination and contemplating with ten kinds of distinctions, they will arise. The three liberations mentioned are merely names, such as emptiness. The meaning of "with that as the basis" is that because of attaining liberation such as emptiness, thoughts of self and other, thoughts of an agent, thoughts of a recipient, thoughts of existence, and thoughts of non-existence will not arise. Here, the sutra text is: "If one cultivates these three doors of liberation, one is separated from the thought of self and other, separated from the thought of an agent and a recipient, and separated from the thought of existence and non-existence." Summarizing the thought of self and other is referred to as the agent and the recipient. Thus, understanding the ultimate truth and beholding sentient beings, this is what the sutra text says: "In order to perfect the limbs of enlightenment that are not yet perfect, one should first lead with great compassion and be even more diligent." The sutra text "arises from afflictions and the assembly of conditions" is: "He thinks thus: from gathering, conditioned phenomena arise; from separation, conditioned phenomena do not arise; from assembly, conditioned phenomena arise; from non-assembly, they do not arise." This means that if the assembled conditions of afflictions are present, they will arise, and if they are not present, they will not arise. Therefore, it is said: "From the non-assembly of conditions, it does not arise, therefore I..." etc. The sutra texts for these are: "Thus, I understand the faults of conditioned phenomena, and I should cut off this gathering and the continuity of this assembly, and in order to ripen sentient beings and pacify all actions."
