There are six if the discipline of the ground is properly taken. The last is when the discipline of higher wisdom is properly taken. Also, in some views, the last two abodes are established as the discipline of higher wisdom because they become the cause of manifestation and the antidote to sleep. If all the prophecies of Bodhisattvas are summarized, they should be established as six types. Therefore, there are six types of prophecies: The prophecy of abiding in lineage is to give the prophecy of enlightenment to sentient beings who possess all the signs of the lineage of perfections, who possess merit, and who are special, saying that they will become Buddhas in the future. Thus, not all who abide in lineage are given prophecies, but some who have special intentions and actions are given prophecies. The prophecy of generating the mind of enlightenment is given to those who have extremely strong and pure faith that has become one, who have made extensive merit, and who generate the mind of perfect enlightenment in the presence of the Tathagata, in order to truly praise them. To prophesy in the presence is to prophesy while abiding in the presence of the Buddha. To prophesy in secret is to prophesy to a person who is very famous but not present. To prophesy with a measurable time is to prophesy after measuring all times. To prophesy with an immeasurable time is to prophesy without a definite time. Thus, there are six types of prophecies based on the difference of circumstances, the difference of closeness and non-closeness, and the difference of time. Definitely entering has three aspects: possessing merit, abiding in lineage, and not being a sentient being who attains nirvana by another vehicle, or not being one who does not enter nirvana. Therefore, even if one abides for a long time, one is still a vessel of enlightenment, and therefore it is called definitely entering. The second is that by fully taking up a stable and essential aspiration, one will never turn away from true and complete enlightenment, and one will never plant other aspirations other than generating the mind of complete enlightenment, so this is entering the certainty of generating the mind.

No. Entering into definite conduct is because with spontaneously accomplished yoga, there is no manifest effort, so the yoga of conduct is with fruit. Also, it is abiding on the eighth ground, and is called entering into certainty by making the external the main thing. Therefore, it is said, "Among them, the Tathagatas, etc." What the Bodhisattva should ascertain is that if those are not done according to reason, then one is not established as a Bodhisattva, and one will not attain Buddhahood either, this should be ascertained. Therefore, it is said, "If those are not done, etc.," the meritorious deeds such as giving without generating the mind are not included in the number of perfections. Therefore, one should first plant the aspiration itself. If one is not compassionate, one cannot fully ripen the minds of sentient beings, and without that, one cannot attain Buddhahood. Therefore, compassion is what should be ascertained. Even if one has the mind of enlightenment and compassion, if one does not exert effort, one will not perfect the accumulations, so blazing diligence is what should be ascertained. If diligence is completely grasped by skillful means, then one will be able to accomplish the desired result in that place, as it is said: "When diligence is exerted properly, there is no slight difficulty." In this way, one should apply it to the various fields of knowledge. Even if one has such a yoga, if the yoga becomes lax due to discouragement, then even the field of knowledge of lax yoga will not be perfected, so one should be without discouragement. Even if discouragement arises in three ways, one will not attain perfect enlightenment, namely, in the yoga of the perfections, the source is fatigue, as well as the suffering of sentient beings' wrongdoings, and the suffering of samsara. Therefore, one should be firm and certain with a mind without discouragement, so one should be without discouragement. The meaning of "to do constantly" is from the perspective of making the Buddha's teachings fully ripen in all lifetimes and day by day, cultivating virtuous Dharma with mindfulness.
