To show that point, the second example is given. For example, if offerings are made to a sick person, etc., this refers to those who are close. The so-called "believing in those" means thinking, "This is the only remedy for all diseases." The so-called "relying on those former and latter medicines" means that the antidote for nasal disease is the former itself, and the antidote for the latter is the latter itself. To show the meaning of not believing, there is "will not completely believe in those words," and so on. Or because of following the sound, thinking that is the only one, therefore, true nirvana will not be seen. If that point is not seen, one will not be liberated from the disease of afflictions, just like a person struck down by disease. This is to show the second example. Therefore, the so-called "like a person suffering from illness," what is even more superior than the lama is the inclusion of entering, etc. The manifestation of being extremely superior is in the stage of practicing with faith. The stage of being extremely profound and vast is in the stage of complete maturation. The stage of being most vast and extremely vast is in the stage of liberation. Truly showing and filling, the so-called "subsequently showing," refers to showing and explaining in the capacity of a Shravaka. Or the meaning is the same. The so-called "limbs and sub-limbs, and all the necessary equipment are very complete," refers to showing that the mount has no defects and is equipped with all the necessary provisions for the journey. If either of the two is missing, the distance to be traveled will not be reached. The explanation of the seventeenth chapter, the Bodhipakshika, from the Yogic Ground of the Bodhisattva Ground, is completed. Again, for the sake of the qualities of the Bodhisattva, the words of the summary are explained separately. First, showing the qualities of the Bodhisattva, from establishing the rare and wonderful Dharma to establishing the existence of the fruit of union, the so-called "will not appear when the future time is near" is rare. Because it did not appear when the past and that kind of time were near, it is wonderful. Shravakas and

Because it is uncommon and non-existent with all sentient beings, it is ultimately taught that, from the perspective of accomplishing the benefit of others and accomplishing one's own benefit, five rare and wonderful dharmas are established. Accomplishing the benefit of others also has two aspects: action and intention. Among them, action is spoken of: Called pleasing all sentient beings without cause, bodhisattvas are by nature pleasing all sentient beings without cause, because they do not expect different results, while other sentient beings are not like that. Also, there are two kinds of actions: when acting for the sake of sentient beings, one is not tired of suffering; and one knows the means of taming those who are tamed by afflictions, especially those who practice afflictions such as greed. There are also two kinds of perfect self-interest: the realm of wisdom in which the obscurations of knowledge are completely purified, individually realizing suchness, and obtaining vast samadhi dharma. Alternatively, from the perspective of accomplishing the benefit of others through intention and action, five rare and wonderful dharmas are established. Intention is as before. There are four kinds of accomplishment of action: one is not tired of suffering oneself; one knows the means of taming; one acts without afflictions; and one acts without weariness. The term "uncommon" refers to showing rarity, which is not rare in itself. It is rare that the suffering arising from the cause of benefiting others turns into the nature of happiness. Those who do not have great desire for other worlds do not find it strange to accept suffering in order to benefit others. Alternatively, it is not strange that suffering itself turns into the nature of happiness in order to benefit others, because it has the intention of loving others. It is strange for those who have this intention to bear suffering, just as they bear it without regarding suffering as suffering. Those who have the wisdom to see the meaning of suchness do not find it very strange to see the faults and merits of samsara and nirvana, and yet, for sentient beings...
