The term "manifestly assembled" refers to contemplating with the mind as in a dream, and it is said to be solely because of small merit. The second offering, which is non-present, is expressed with the word "vast." The word "དས་" does not refer to the uncommon, but is indicated by the phrase "for the sake of all Buddhas." Non-present offerings are also of two kinds: offering objects to bring them near, which is said for what? It refers to "Tathagata" and so on. Offering objects to place them, which is said for what? It refers to "after complete Nirvana" and so on. "As much as possible" means in accordance with one's ability. To show that meaning, it is said "to the best of one's ability." Alternatively, the two words express how one's thoughts and wealth are. Showing its vastness means showing that it possesses limitless fruits, and therefore it is completely seized by the merit of many Brahmas. For example, the merit of building a single stupa, if one can seize the merit of many Brahmas, then building many stupas will seize the merit of many Brahmas. As it is said in other sutras: "In whatever places there are no stupas of the Tathagata, if in those places stupas are built, then the seized merit of Brahma will also obtain merit equal to the merit of Brahma." The measure of Brahma's merit is what kind of merit will cause one to go to the heavens for one kalpa, and the merit that continuously and constantly ripens and enters is called Brahma's merit. It refers to being equal to the merit of sentient beings in the first dhyana. In this regard, one sutra says: "If the Sangha is in harmony, one will obtain merit equal to Brahma." Other verses say: "If the Sangha is in harmony, one will obtain the bliss of heaven for a kalpa." "Will not fall into wrongdoing" refers to the stage of conduct by faith. In happy migrations, the fruit of ripening will also continuously enter. Not completely perfecting the accumulation

The term "I shall not change" signifies the great accumulation of merit from offerings. How these fully elucidate the greatness of lineage and fruition. The meaning of the word "sole" should be regarded as a non-common meaning. The second instance of the word "sole" refers to the "sole" construction of a single stupa of the Tathagata. Thus, the blessing of a stupa for all Tathagatas is an exceedingly extraordinary common result. To indicate the offering made by myself, I personally hold it with my own hands, not allowing others to do it due to faults. To indicate this very point, relying on laziness and so forth, and so on. This is a synonym for making bodily laziness and mental sloth one's master. The fault associated with bad deeds, and the place of the fault of carelessness. Even such is an offering that is entirely afflicted. Allowing the mother and father, etc., to go first and do it, and similarly, in order to fully grasp all sentient beings, things are made to go first, but it is not merely the things that are fully grasped. However, in order to indicate that other sentient beings' things are made to go first, such as kings and so forth. Thus, allowing householders to have others do it. Having shown the manner of having so many riches and enjoyments, in order to show the example of the small ones. The so-called "things are small." The so-called "having compassion" is a synonym for making affection for sentient beings one's master. Because one did not accumulate merit in the past, one has become miserable in this life. If one does not accumulate merit in this life, one will similarly become miserable in the future, knowing this, allowing those in whom compassion has manifested to make offerings, but not the Bodhisattva himself. Therefore, the offering that one makes oneself, due to the greatness of the object of offering, its result is indeed great. The offering that others make is also a great result, because it tends towards one side.
