It should be taught as being free from desire from the peak of the desire realm. Therefore, in order to explain the meaning of this life, it is said, "The body is extremely subdued, and the mind is extremely subdued." It possesses the distinction of having an extremely subdued body and mind. Because one will greatly experience the bliss of an extremely subdued body and mind, it is said. "Abiding by touching bliss" means that by being free from worldly desires, one will be born as a pure deity, and by attaining the ultimate transcendence of the world, one will be completely extinguished in the realm of Nirvana. For the three types of individuals, in order, the practice of causing them to truly uphold virtue, the practice of causing them to truly uphold ordination, and the practice of causing them to abandon wrong views and enter the Dharma are called difficult practices because the ability to do so is difficult. Among the three types of individuals, those who have deteriorated from the cause refer to those who, starting from the recent past, have not practiced all roots of virtue and have not become accustomed to virtue. For these individuals, Bodhisattvas, with great effort, separately observe that whatever they do not do in this life, they will not do in the future, and thus cause them to truly enter virtue. Now, for those who possess great wealth, often live in carelessness, and are completely attached to desires, it is very difficult to encourage them to renounce the world. Therefore, one should truly encourage them in this way. In other lifetimes, for those who have a firm and defiled faith in the views of non-Buddhists, it is difficult to separate them from wrong views and introduce them to the Dharma. Therefore, one should separate them from wrong views and place them in the teachings of the Tathagata. One is foolish because one has a reversed and confused mind. Attachment means "Only this is true, and others are ignorant." Because they have many wrong views, even if they are shown and proven through words that are in accordance with reason and not in accordance with reason, they will not acknowledge it. The nature of the two paths of higher realms, including the path of entry and the path of definitive good, is the same. From the perspective of worldly and transcendental perfection.

Because of properly urging, entering through the four doors is called acting through all doors. Among them, with faith, one will enter into generosity and discipline. With these, one will obtain an excellent body and resources before passing away, as is appropriate in the three realms, because it is the cause of worldly perfection. With faith, one will also enter into wisdom, and with wisdom, having reached the ultimate end of meditation, having completely abandoned afflictions, one will obtain perfection beyond the world. Or, if it is considered that one should gradually strive diligently, then the four, such as faith, will be established. Whichever son or daughter of good family, upon hearing the Dharma from a Bodhisattva, will gain faith in actions and results, the Three Jewels, and the three kinds of truth. Possessing that faith, seeing the faults of remaining in a household and the benefits of renunciation, one will correctly uphold the discipline of body, the discipline of speech, and pure livelihood. Again, in such a way, with the knowledge of possessing the aggregate of discipline, one will be established in worldly and transworldly wisdom. Therefore, through the saying "abandoning evil deeds," one will be made to correctly uphold perfect generosity, because clinging to conditioned and defiled things is called stinginess. In terms of the five kinds of words, the actions of a noble person are fivefold. Furthermore, the meaning of the five kinds of words should be understood as encouragement, subsequent instruction, and teaching the Dharma. Therefore, it is said that among "causing to correctly uphold the correct meaning," etc., the path of the five kinds of words is the correct meaning, etc. The two ways are, for those who belong to one's own retinue, the correct and the wrong, in terms of embracing and subduing; for others who hate the teachings, and for sentient beings who are in an intermediate state, have entered, and are fully matured, in terms of guiding, placing, causing to mature, and liberating. The act of embracing is twofold: through the distribution of wealth and properly

One should rejoice. The act of subduing has three types in a gradual order, such as small ones: rebuke, the act of punishment, and expulsion. Establishing as sevenfold is to correctly engage in the diligence that is suitable for the general gradual meditation. Five types. The distinction itself is based on the extreme placement of the three vehicles, and there are two types. For the sake of general teaching, starting from the Lesser Vehicle and starting from the Great Vehicle, this is a term spoken in terms of the distinction of the vehicles. Among them, accumulation is because of closing the doors of the senses. Protecting those is protecting from degeneration. Accumulation is to make it increase. Complete solitude is the solitude of body and mind. Making the mind one-pointed is to first correctly establish the mind in that. Purifying the obscurations is to meditate on the mind that takes as its object the purification of pervasive conduct, etc. In order to generate weariness in the initial activity, one should hold the five signs and meditate. The practice of meaning and benefit that is impoverished and possesses desire is to be established based on entering into the complete abandonment of the eight pervasive conceptions. Establishing the eight pervasive conceptions is spoken in terms of being an obstacle to the aggregates of discipline, concentration, and wisdom, along with their retinue. Among them, shamelessness and lack of embarrassment are obstacles to the aggregate of discipline, because without regard for oneself and others, one does not correctly take up discipline after abandoning misdeeds, and one does not correctly protect what has been taken up. When fully associated with concentration, there is the fear of sinking and dullness, and the inner nature becomes depressed. Those become obstacles to the aggregate of concentration. When fully associated with higher vision, there is the fear of excitement and regret. Because of being accompanied by attachment and regret, one cannot see the image of what is to be known. Therefore, those two become obstacles to the aggregate of wisdom, because they obstruct it. The body and mind become nearly stable, this is to meditate on the three aggregates.
