There is no fault, because one relies well on its antidote, and because the obstacle to the recovery of effort remains and is irreversible, therefore, even if one practices universally by overpowering with the power of the cause, there is no fault. For those who deserve respect, respect them in a way that is appropriate for respect, saying "the eldest" and so on. Those who possess qualities should be called "pleasant." Those who deserve respect are those who are obligated to speak frankly in these two ways. The cause of having faults if not done is indicated by "being suppressed by pride," because if one is full of pride, one will become an afflicted one. Not being indolent and lazy is not being afflicted, because there is no greater fault of mind. The speaker is a word of abandoning thoughts. Universal speech is a word of asking "Are you well?" and so on. Making others truly happy is a word of asking about other things. The so-called "in a reasonable way" is abandoning the thought of seeking the benefit of an answer. Being reversed by sleep means that the occurrence of things such as encountering again indicates that it is a wakeful consciousness. Discriminating related speech means observing each other based on the Dharma and Vinaya. When making others truly happy by asking questions, one cannot make a sound at the same time, so there is no fault. There is also no fault for those who think that it will become an obstacle to listening to the Dharma. Discrimination is also the same. Similarly, there is no fault in guarding the distraction of others who listen to the Dharma, and in guarding the mind of the speaker. If doing so is beneficial to them, there is no fault. If the Sangha has established precepts such as not performing the act of prostration there, or not talking to them, or doing so with them would cause many others to develop a universally annoyed mind towards the Bodhisattva, there is no fault in guarding against this situation. Based on the complete acceptance of wealth, it is said "calling" and so on. The so-called "in order to guard against becoming an obstacle to the aspect of virtue" means that one will fall away from regular activities.

For the sake of protection, This is the concluding word. There is no fault in fearing that one might decline from listening to the Dharma that one has not heard. It is the same with settling an abundant conversation. "With a mind of complete torment" is the concluding word meaning that one does not like them. Attachment is seeing that one's self will be completely attached to what is completely grasped. There is no fault in the giver regretting, or giving wrongly due to ignorance, or abandoning all possessions and fearing becoming poor by giving up complete attachment. There is no fault in not taking the Dharma to be done for a non-Dharma gift. It is the same with what comes from the unreasonable, and the reason is stated to show the fault of taking what comes from the unreasonable. Speaking of those who desire other Dharmas, etc., with the initiation of Dharma as the main thing, the listener will not become a vessel in two ways. Because of the mind of resentment, the word "heretic" is spoken. Because there is no respect, the word "disrespectful" is spoken. There is no fault in having the thought of protecting the profound Dharma by showing it to those whose faculties are not fully matured, and its faults are shown by fear, etc., because fear is holding it as difficult. Wrong view is because of disbelief. Wrong adherence is because others do not listen even if they are well advised. From that cause, non-merit will increase, and one will go to bad migrations, so there will be harm and decline. There is no fault even if one sees that one who has not become a vessel from one to another will become a vessel and teaches. If one abandons and despises those who are immoral, focusing only on morality, with a confused mind, there will be faults. Why is that? Because it is shown that for those who are immoral, great compassion is placed close to accomplish the truth, but it is not so for those who have morality. Because they themselves are not well entered, there is no benefit or happiness to be done for them, so the cause of suffering, etc., is spoken. This is immoral.
