It is for the reason of starting from there. Because of "transforming like the holy Dharma" and so on, it shows that it transforms from the two powers of oneself and others. Because of "either one is fine" and so on, it shows that whether it is complete or incomplete, it will become without opportunity. For a defeated Bhikshu, there is no opportunity to attain the noble path in this life, nor is there an opportunity to attain the virtuous Dharma arising from that effort. Similarly, a Bodhisattva also has no opportunity to attain realization, nor does he have the opportunity to attain realization through accumulating the two accumulations. Therefore, it is said "to make the intention completely pure." For example, a Shravaka, because of committing a root offense, is not a Bhikshu, not a Shramana, not a son of Shakya, and is only called a Shramana from the perspective of attire. Similarly, a Bodhisattva, because of doing those things, is only a self-proclaimed Bodhisattva. Small and medium-sized afflictive entanglements, even if one commits violations like those of a place of defeat, one will not abandon the vows. This principle is different from that of the Shravakas. Great ones will abandon it. What is the reason for that? It is shown through "because" and so on. Because of constantly practicing Dharmas like those of a place of defeat, one will completely lose all sense of shame and embarrassment. Therefore, it is said "even if it is small" and so on. Even if one is shameless, one will be satisfied, because one does not abandon practicing those, so it is pure. For those, one does not regard them as faults, but rather as virtues. Through these ways, one should know that it is a great entanglement. The Pratimoksha vows of the Shravakas, because they are the place of all virtuous Dharmas, are called root vows. If that is cut off, because of strongly practicing shamelessness and immodesty, and losing the sense of shame and embarrassment, one will have no opportunity to properly take the vows in this life. A Bodhisattva is not like that. Even if one has completely abandoned the Bodhisattva vows in this life, there is an opportunity to restore them in this life, because one has not lost the sense of shame and embarrassment. In order to show the cause of permanent abandonment,

It is mentioned such as "completely abandoning". Because of universally practicing great entanglement, like the Dharma of defeat, universally practicing, it will be abandoned. The vows of the Hearers only exist between the end of life and the end of one day and one night. After death, they have no memory, and because they obtain an extremely incompatible body, they do not follow the next life, so it is stipulated in this way. Bodhisattvas, because they have obtained the ability to increase memory, wisdom, and the power of discrimination, and because they have obtained the distinction of support, become vows until the essence of Bodhi. Therefore, it is mentioned such as "even if life ends". Below refers to the evil destinies. Through the power of aspiration and the combination of power, in order to make sentient beings not complete, even after being born in evil destinies, they will not completely abandon the vows, because there is no cause for abandonment. The two causes for Bodhisattvas to abandon the vows have been explained. The five causes for abandoning the Pratimoksha vows have been explained: giving up the training without distinction, death, simultaneous birth of two sexes, severing the roots of virtue, and the passing of day and night. Therefore, Bodhisattvas have no fixed time, and because there is no cause for abandonment, even if life ends, there is only non-abandonment of the vows. Above refers to among the gods. Directly refers to among humans. The absence of a cause for abandonment is shown by "which Bodhisattva" and so on. Even if one becomes forgetful, one naturally abides in the Dharma nature of Bodhisattvas, and Bodhisattvas do not do inappropriate things, so they will only follow it. Even if one does not ask for the sake of restoring memory, there is no fault, which is shown by "spiritual friend" and so on. For example, in the Vinaya of the Hearers, if someone occasionally has a contradiction in things, then the thing itself becomes a fault, in order to show that the situation of the Bodhisattvas is similar, so "fault" and so on are mentioned. For example, the faults of the Hearers
