There are two kinds of situations. If it is done with an afflicted mind, it becomes afflicted; if it is done with a non-afflicted mind, it becomes non-afflicted. Similarly, Bodhisattvas also have afflictions and non-afflictions. For example, the faults of the Hearers become small, medium, and large in five ways: nature, action, intention, object, and accumulation. Among them, defeat is a great fault by its very nature. Sanghavasesa is medium. Those that are not these are small. Furthermore, defeat and Sanghavasesa are large, because they are distinguished by the severity of the fault. Patita is medium. Dushkrita is light. Thus, from the perspective of nature, it becomes small, medium, and large. From the perspective of action, how is it? What is done unknowingly or without speech is a small fault. What is done with strong afflictions is medium. What is done disrespectfully is a great fault. From the perspective of intention, how is it? What is done with afflictions such as attachment, etc., when one is small is a small fault. What is done with medium and great afflictions becomes medium and great faults. From the perspective of the object, how is it? Even if it is the same from the perspective of intention, it should be known that due to the difference in the object, it becomes small, medium, and large. For example, with the same afflictions, killing or causing to kill a sentient being who has been reborn in the animal realm will result in a Patita, but if it is a human being, it is not so. Among humans, if one kills or causes to kill one's parents, one will commit defeat and also fall into Avici hell. Thus, it also changes from the perspective of the object. From the perspective of accumulation, how is it? For example, if some people commit one, two, three, or even five faults, but do not repent according to the Dharma, this is a small fault from the perspective of accumulation. Beyond that, if one commits ten or twenty or even a hundred recognizable faults and does not repent, this is medium. Immeasurable faults

Even if it has happened, not correcting it is great. Similarly, here too, it should be applied in a small way, etc. Having taken refuge in the Three Jewels, and especially having generated the mind of unsurpassed, perfectly complete, and fully awakened enlightenment, then, just like every day, it is unavoidable to make offerings and respect to the Three Jewels. Therefore, the fault of not making offerings to the Three Jewels has been shown by the Thus-Gone One. In whichever direction the Thus-Gone One resides, look towards that direction and prostrate in the manner of remembering. In the same way, the stupa should also be treated in the same way, through remembering its qualities. The same should be done for the Dharma and the scriptures of the sacred Dharma, because this is done for the teachings that belong solely to the unsurpassed. The Bodhisattva Pitaka, etc., are mentioned. Here, it is done for the sangha of non-retreating Bodhisattvas, so it also applies to the sangha, from "also okay" to "whatever it is," etc., which shows this. Offering is done through body, speech, and mind. In terms of body, even including prostration, etc., this is shown by "just one." In terms of speech, from "even" to "just one four-line verse," etc., it shows this. In terms of mind, it is shown by remembering the qualities of the Three Jewels. Among them, the bottom line is "just one faith." Among them, having faults is because it generates transgressions. Having contradictions is because it contradicts the nature of the Bodhisattva. A Bodhisattva who abides in the place of pure intention, because he has obtained the excellence of pure intention, naturally always engages in the offering of the Three Jewels, so he has no time to be separated from the offering of practice, just like a noble person who sees the truth. If one accepts the three, such as great desire, etc., by looking at the body and possessions, it will become faulty, because it contradicts the nature of the Bodhisattva. Great desire, etc., are definitely only afflictions, so there is no non-affliction in them. If one generates the intention to abandon them, then there is no
