For those who should be subdued, in general, it shows the reason for giving priority to teaching the Dharma; for each sentient being, it shows the reason for giving priority to teaching different methods. There are four ways to benefit sentient beings: For those who hope to be repaid, by guarding their kindness, repay them equally or more, thereby staying close to them; for those who are frightened by various fears, protect them from various fears; for those who suffer, relieve them of their suffering characterized by sorrow; for those who lack resources, one should also reasonably accomplish all resources for them. There are two ways to enter: For those who depend on offerings, give offerings with a mind free from attachment, thereby completely gathering the Sangha; for those who do not depend on other Dharma practitioners, by making each of them truly happy, go to them personally from time to time, accept offerings, act in accordance with worldly affairs, allow them to come and go, and comply with their wishes except for unreasonable things. There are also two types of people who have reliance: For those who have entered correctly, one should make them truly happy with various correct qualities, either privately or publicly. For those who have entered wrongly, they should be punished with pure higher intention: small faults are characterized by blame, medium faults are characterized by imposing punishment, and large faults are dealt with by expulsion. In order to show that punishment has meaning, it says "for example" and so on. There are also two types of dissatisfaction: For those who behave improperly, by clearly showing the suffering associated with various harms, make them disgusted with non-virtue; for those who behave well, generate small, medium, and large joy through miraculous transformations and so on. The Bodhisattva abides in the three types of precepts, and in order to show the cause for the three types of precepts to be perfected, the Bodhisattva's discipline of vows

It is mentioned, "Being in..." etc. If in ten ways, one becomes a well-disciplined person, becoming one whose discipline is completely pure and completely perfect, this is a concluding word. For those who have abandoned past desires, since they do not universally practice the realm of seeing, they do not see; for the future, since they do not universally practice the craving of manifest joy, they do not see; for the present arising gains and honors, there is no particular attachment; body and mind are secluded; speech and thought are completely pure; one does not despise oneself; mostly certain; mostly tolerant; abiding in mindfulness; conduct and livelihood are completely pure. Just as one does not look at everything like grass completely abandoned with the notion of a duster and the external ground completely abandoned with the notion of impurity, so the Bodhisattva does not look at the desires of grass and because they have no essence; one does not look at the desires that are like the external ground because they are related to the decaying external ground of afflictions. Just as one who has renounced all desires by becoming ordained with the thought of livelihood does not look at them, so the Bodhisattva especially does not look at the supreme desires of humans, mentioning not looking at the desires of a universal monarch. Mentioning desires belonging to the realm of demons, taking supreme divine substances as the main thing. For example, being filled with various great fears and causing confusion is the root of harm, and one cannot be liberated, similarly, if one sees desires correctly, one will not manifest joy. For gains and honors, because one is free from the desire of longing, if one sees correctly with wisdom, like vomit of food, one will not be particularly attached, nor will one taste the flavor. The so-called manifesting joy in complete solitude means that the body has become solitary, therefore, it is mentioned as being alone. Even though one is in the midst of the Sangha, the mind becomes solitary, not thinking that it is enough to rely only on discipline, but relying on that to manifest the immeasurable samadhi of the Bodhisattva, and striving to attain power.
