Etc. Considering the inferior as superior is clinging to the view of superiority. Because it is said, "merely giving alms is very complete," etc. Giving is inferior, because it is practiced when one desires oneness. Considering this as superior, that is, clinging to it as the cause of purity. Furthermore, unaccumulated giving can be understood in three ways: dwelling on auspicious, beautiful, or good days, etc.; thinking, "If I give at this time, I will receive great rewards," thereby accumulating and gathering things to be given, and then giving them all at once, and thinking that great merit will be gained; and desiring fame, etc. These three things are not present in a Bodhisattva. Therefore, it is called a Bodhisattva's unaccumulated giving. There are also faults, such as turning away beggars and saying cutting words like, "There is nothing to give." To illustrate this, it is said, "A Bodhisattva does not turn away," etc. Because there is no need to turn away beggars, it is said, "If one does not even see a reason to turn them away." To show that there is no difference in merit when giving to a group of beggars at the same time, it is said, "Why would there be a difference in merit," etc. Giving after accumulating in this way is seen as having faults, while giving as things come is seen as without fault. To dispel doubts about these two situations, it is said, "Why is this?" etc. Annoyed mind is hatred. Intolerance is anger. Distrust is constantly holding grudges. To show that giving without despising, competing with, or being jealous of those who are inferior, equal, or superior is giving without arrogance, it is said, "With a low mind towards the beggar," etc. To show that giving without relying on fame is giving without reliance, it is said, "Reliance is relying on fame, that is, sound and verses, because it can be spoken." In order, merit is obtained through speaking and combining.

That which is desired to be a source of joy is called a verse. In order to show that the sound is completely like the echo of a rock, it is said, "Sound arises from the letters of conceptualization." To this, he himself said, "It is only related to sound." To this, if the letters are separated one by one, nothing can be seen. In order to show that there is no essence, it is said, "It is held like a dry leaf." The meaning of "dry leaf" is: an old leaf that has fallen to the ground. Some say that it is a garland of flowers that has been enjoyed and discarded. In order to have the form of joy in the three times, the fearless giving is shown. After hearing of the great giving of the great Bodhisattvas, thinking that one's own body cannot do that, there is no shrinking of the mind. After carefully thinking and fully observing, giving the supreme, the most supreme, and the particularly surpassing object is shown as non-evil giving. Giving with a universally equal mind, and without unequal giving, is called non-abandoning giving. By observing the past, present, and future three times, thinking that one has helped, is helping, and will help, one does not give. Because one is weary of suffering, it is called wanting happiness. Wanting happiness is being burned by the burning flame. One cannot eliminate suffering oneself, which is called powerless. Because it is the nature of ripening suffering, it is called naturally suffering ones. In order to show that there is no limit to the higher realms of the next world, and in order to show its cause, it is said, "Observing all conditioned phenomena as empty." Because it is related to the two kinds of impermanence. In order to be a giving that is complete in all aspects, in order to show "in the perfection of giving," it is said, "Relying on these nine kinds of giving," and so on. From the yoga place of the Bodhisattva's ground, the other shore of giving.

The commentary on the chapter of Going to the Other Shore, the ninth chapter, is completed. In order to show the six perfections in a similar way, everything is shown by only one verse of the summary word "nature" and so on. That is, "nature" and so on. It should be known that the perfection of discipline is established only in nine ways. The establishment of the nine ways is the same as previously shown, that is, from showing the nature to showing the purity. The so-called "having four qualities" means that it should be known that the summary of establishing the nature of the bodhisattva's discipline in four ways. The four qualities, in short, are established in two ways, that is, receiving, as it is said "from others." Guarding, that is, the remaining words. Again, there are two types, that is, with intention and action, appropriately connecting with one word and three words. Again, it is established from the perspective of the cause of pure discipline and the result of pure discipline. There are two causes of purity, the one with shame, is to protect well in consideration of others, therefore it is said "receiving well and correctly from others." The one who knows shame, is to protect well in consideration of oneself, therefore it is said "intention is extremely pure." The result of pure discipline is no regret, which is shown by the latter two qualities. Again, it is shown in three ways, that is, from the perspective of the three ways of discipline of pure intention, the nature of the bodhisattva's discipline is established. What are the three ways? Through the gate of pure intention, when the bodhisattva speaks the Dharma, in order to make his own words dignified, he truly upholds the discipline; the bodhisattva renounces in order to make himself a field of merit, he truly upholds the discipline; after obtaining the sovereignty of freedom, in order not to harm sentient beings, he truly upholds the discipline. Therefore, the praiser also says: How is the language dignified, and the merit of sentient beings
