Also, there are differences in the object of giving, differences in intention, and differences in the recipient. In terms of the difference of self-nature, it is called the non-attachment and co-emergence of the mind. In terms of the difference of entering the door, it is called the actions of body and speech caused by it. In terms of the difference of the object to be given, it is called completely giving away all objects to be given. The difference in intention should be understood as discipline and views, etc. Because it is said, abiding in discipline, etc. In terms of the recipient, it is said, whoever wants, etc. Also, it should be understood that the self-nature giving of three kinds of differences is established, namely the difference of self-nature, the difference of the dharma of the object to be given, and the difference of superior intention. All resources and not caring for oneself, etc., refer to the fact that in this, that, and the ultimate situation, there is no expectation for the three kinds of results in sequence, that is, not relying on those two, because there is a beneficial result for this, a maturing result for that, and a liberating result at the end. Those are the ones that clarify the difference of self-nature. The giving minds of worldly people, hearers, and solitary Buddhas are also not endowed with such non-attachment, because how reasonably they have expectations for the three kinds of results. Also, it should be understood that wisdom and compassion gradually exhaust attachment to oneself, and increase attachment to others, so one does not care for all resources and oneself. Those are the ones that show the giving mind because they have the root of virtue of non-attachment. Caused by this means caused by the mind shown as before. Giving with one's own hands is the action of the body. Saying to give to others is the action of speech. Those are the ones that can eliminate the mind with just conceptualization. The characteristics of giving with the nature of the five aggregates will be shown, as

In terms of words, the object of virtuous thought, when a person performs generosity, that moment of the accumulation of virtue is called generosity. This is what is taught. "Without fault" means that whatever a Bodhisattva should not give away, they completely abandon and do not give. Thus, the generosity of a Bodhisattva is distinguished by completely giving away all kinds of things that should be given away. Others do not give away the body with which they enjoy things. They do not give away what is used for the sake of life, for whose sake they enjoy things. They do not give away children and so on, with whom they enjoy things together. They do not give away things that are abundant and vast, which are to be enjoyed. Therefore, they do not completely give away all those things. "Abiding in discipline" means not harming beggars with the body and so on. This is the meaning. "Those" means showing the root of virtue without hatred. Bodhisattvas do not have anger in their minds towards beggars, because they generate the thought of virtuous friends. Seeing that three kinds of fruits are obtained from giving is called seeing the coming. Showing its meaning is called looking at the fruit. The three kinds of fruits are the fruit of complete ripening, the fruit of similarity to the cause, and the fruit of manifest enlightenment. Those show the distinction of being truly endowed with the root of virtue without ignorance. Others only see the fruit of great enjoyment itself. It is like showing the object of merit arising from generosity. "To whomever desires" means showing the thought of compassion, that is, giving according to the wishes of the beggar. Therefore, it shows the generosity arising from compassion. Giving everything means giving up everything. Therefore, it is said, "Everything" means the inner nature, obtaining the complete ripening of the karma of previous lives, which is included in the complete ripening. Its establishment should be known as two kinds: the body.

English

It is a summary. Hands and feet, etc., are its differences. In order to show those two, it is said, "From the feet up, it belongs to one's own body," meaning it is merely the inner self-nature. Because there is also a mixture of the two self-natures, in order to show that mixture, it is said, "Whatever...that," etc. Those who live by eating vomit are hungry ghosts and some animals, and that is also because after eating, they enter an undigested state, therefore it is the inner self-nature, because it is the cause of one's own body's existence. Because it is not taken in, it is said to be external. Because it belongs to both, it is mixed. Therefore, it is said, "Mixed giving," etc. The inner self-nature and external things should also be separately recognized as two ways of giving, the completely giving giving, no matter what is said, "Let them do as they please," meaning that for giving, etc., with the means of being able to be autonomous, let them do as they please. In order to show that same meaning, it is said, "Having dominion over others," etc. Just like a slave who was raised before, from having autonomy to later being dominated by others. Similarly, Bodhisattvas also give their own bodies as they please. In order to completely accomplish benefiting others and happiness, they completely give to others. A mind without defilement is without hoping for results, it is loving others for no reason. Showing the mind without defilement is "Desiring supreme Bodhi," etc. "Desiring supreme Bodhi" means that it is not hoping for the result of one's own liberation. Wanting to accomplish benefiting others and happiness is without hoping for different ripening fruits and rewards. Wanting to perfect the perfection of giving is hoping for the result of the same kind of cause. Others are explained elsewhere. In order to obtain the real meaning from the body without essence, these three words are clearly shown, so it is said. Because from the body's lack of essence, an extremely vast and excellent result arises, meaning that it does not depend on the body.
