It should be known. Because it is combined with unwavering action, it is called establishment. Alternatively, these should be abandoned. This is to truly cultivate and abide, and to teach according to the oral instructions, which is to truly cause it to be held. To incite from the state of non-virtue is to tame. To establish in virtue is called abiding. To establish without robbing it is called discerning the meaning because it is the cause of benefit and happiness. In order to teach the disciples to truly hold, etc., one should also cultivate accordingly and act in accordance with them, which is called meaning agreement, which is the means of harmonious cultivation. If one cultivates in this way, then no one will say anything, and in order to show this, it is said, who can still say to that, even yourself, etc. That which is completely grasped by summarizing or individually is the meaning of its nature. Faith can gather, the two can tame, and the latter two can mature. The eighth chapter of the category of strength in the basic yoga place of the Bodhisattva grounds is completed. If asked what is the necessity of summarizing by nature, etc., it is to show that one should train with the seven meanings such as the meaning of self and others, and the seven aspects such as many desires. Furthermore, in order to show that those meanings should also be trained by the combination of manifesting the perfection of generosity, etc., therefore, making the freedom of briefly explaining the perfections, it is shown by the summary of the brief explanation, that is, in order to briefly explain the six perfections of generosity, etc., whose aspects are all the same. If one does not train in the perfections of generosity, etc., then one cannot train in self-benefit, etc., so after perfecting the perfections, one can manifest the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment and

Therefore, without perfecting the perfections, one cannot realize the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Therefore it is said, "Having perfected" means having become completely perfect. Only the six perfections are shown because the other perfections are included within them. The establishment of the perfections is shown earlier through the classification of the accumulations of merit and wisdom. The perfection of generosity is shown in nine ways: namely, showing the nature, showing the object of generosity, showing the inability to enter, showing the door, showing the basis, showing the aspect, showing the action of removing suffering, showing the characteristic of accomplishing happiness in both worlds, and showing purity. If these nine aspects are condensed, they can be established as two: namely, the nature and the distinction of the nature. Among them, the first and the last are in order respectively. Again, it is said, "Without abandoning the four characteristics of all conditioned phenomena," therefore these nine aspects can be established as four characteristics: namely, the characteristic of one's own nature, the characteristic of detailed classification, the characteristic of the cause, and the characteristic of the result, as appropriate. For each aspect, it is shown that it is a perfection because of the meaning of going to the ultimate of its own perfection, therefore it is said, "The perfection of generosity," which means that not all of it is the path, but what is it? It is each one, from the generosity of the nature to the generosity of purity. Only a Bodhisattva can perfect all aspects, that is, from the nature of generosity to the purity of generosity. Therefore, it is praised: The self-victor like a rhinoceros, even the name of perfection does not exist, the six perfections, all ride on your head. That is what is said. The nature of generosity can be understood in short as five aspects: namely, the difference of the nature, the difference of entering the door, the difference of the object.
