That is, even if all sentient beings are completely accepted as if they were wives, they are not stained by afflictions, which is the perfection of birth. Then, by the perfection of application, the thought and application are perfected, thereby increasing and developing virtuous dharmas. Then comes the perfection of fruit. Then there are the benefits of the present life and the next life. Regarding the benefits of the next life, such as "even if one has already been born in a bad rebirth" and so on. Again, the meaning of summarizing the differences in fruit is: first, the mind is particularly superior. First, the summarized meaning of this chapter on generating the mind is: first, the definition of generating the mind, and the definition of difference, and the four conditions for generating the mind without interruption, and the four causes, and by showing which cause and power generate the mind, thereby returning from what is incompatible with it, and the wonderful and rare dharmas that rely on the initial generation of the mind, and its benefits, namely its own definition, and the definition of difference, and the cause, condition, and power of birth, and showing it to those who are confused about it, and through wonderful and rare dharmas, etc., making the lineage uncertain, and transforming those who have entered the lineage of hearers and solitary Buddhas and guiding them into (the Mahayana), and making those of uncertain lineage completely rejoice and definitely accept Buddhahood, and for those who are heedless, timid, and truly entered among those of the Bodhisattva lineage, to truly accept them according to the order, to truly praise them, and to truly make them rejoice. The brief meaning of the benefits of a Bodhisattva with the merit of having fruit is that in the present life, there is no harm to one's own body, and the manifestation of the miraculous qualities of a Chakravartin, etc. is shown. In the rebirth obtained in the future, the body capable of accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others can be fully obtained, which is shown by "after abandoning life" and so on. In the present life itself, there is no nature of harm to oneself due to the bad state and decline of one's own body and mind. Due to the power of that merit, mantras and so on performed by others will also not harm others. Abiding in the Bodhisattva lineage

It is indicated by "also by nature" and so on. Not generating afflictions that harm oneself and others, and being inferior and quickly disappearing, for this very Dharma, it is even more endowed with patience and acceptance, indicated by "having" and so on. Because of acting for the benefit of others, wherever one dwells in a village, there will be fear and the possibility of fear, and the harms of famine, and the harm done by humans and non-humans, those that have not occurred will not occur, and those that have occurred will be pacified, indicated by "will be pacified" and so on. The future benefits are not being reborn in the lower realms, and so on, which should be understood as before. For example, the benefits that are shown, those benefits themselves will be shown as benefits in all aspects. The chapter on generating Bodhicitta from the Bodhisattva grounds is divided into order, which is the second chapter. Thus, generating the mind is what is stated in the chapter on generating the mind. How is it stated? It is indicated from "Here, the Bodhisattva first generates the mind" to "Generating the mind is also focused on the benefit of enlightenment and sentient beings." What is the conduct of the Bodhisattvas who have generated the mind in this way? It means what kind of action. From "What should be practiced is practice" to "practice." Learning also has the same meaning, so from "What should be learned is learning" to "learning," the nature is established by the sound of that word. By meditating on its supports, what is learning? Because the actions of the doer are what should be done, what is learning? When he performs these actions, how does he become accustomed? It is indicated by "How to learn." All of these, these three, are called Bodhisattva conduct. Self-benefit and other-benefit, that is, by focusing on the benefit of oneself and others, one should learn self-benefit and other-benefit. Learning self-benefit and other-benefit, one should learn strength through the means of non-affliction and the means of non-weariness. Thus, without affliction and
