Entering this is called the initial entry. Non-initial entry, such as relying on the non-abandonment of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, is explained as relying on the growth of the element. Among them, the extremely distant purity refers to laziness or the lack of conditions, that is, relying on the element of previous diligence, as well as laziness and the lack of conditions. Thus, because it does not possess that, it should be known that it is not extremely close to purity because of the extremely distant purity. Exertion means seeing the faults of not acting. The so-called reliance on the patience of correct thinking means the patience arising from the cause of contemplating the Dharma. The so-called "from this Vinaya" means from the teachings of the Buddha. In order to make the faith in the Three Jewels an unshakable treasure, not to be plundered, patience is made. If one trusts the realization of others, and from the arising of the realization of merits, one does not believe in obtaining one's own benefit, then the nature of wavering arises. Exertion and intention are these. Now explaining the present condition, the present condition also has three aspects, namely, explaining the Dharma that is not inverted in the Dharma, and holding it inverted, and diligently striving for the Dharma that is in accordance with the Dharma, among which is holding it not inverted. Explaining by means of intention means diligently striving for the Dharma and the Dharma that is in accordance with the Dharma. Explaining by means of exertion means accomplishing the proximity of resources, etc., that is, the six means. In this accomplishment of proximity of the present condition, showing the Dharma that is seen not inverted is explanation. However, it is not only explaining the Dharma, but also explaining the complete means of all other activities. Accomplishing the proximity of resources and accomplishing the proximity of the Dharma are the means of gathering. Wanting by means of miracles is the means of wanting, in order to make the unbelieving believe, and in order to purify intention, and for the sake of purifying exertion. Thus, the necessity of wanting is also twofold.

It is said that those who cannot attain their own benefit are those with dull faculties, and those with sharp faculties who quickly realize manifest knowledge. Teaching the Dharma secretly is for the sake of sentient beings with childish behavior. Teaching the Dharma distinctly is for the sake of those with vast wisdom. The faults now mentioned arise from diligently practicing the Dharma that accords with the Dharma. The three, such as the small, are always without combination, without respectful combination, and without either of the two, and with both of the two, which is said in order. Combining with the three, such as listening, is the previous confused approach to practice. Causing to ripen is divided into two types: entering correctly and entering perversely. Among them, not entering correctly is being subdued. Among them, in the visible Dharma, the ripening that depends on others is of three types: done by oneself, requested by others, and both of them. The meaning of the six Bodhisattvas who cause ripening is: pure higher intention, the determined one, and the three who abide in the determined ground, and these three Bodhisattvas abide in the path of application, there are three: abiding in the ground of adhimukti-caryā (the stage of aspirational conduct), it is abiding in the path of application in order to enter the ground of pure intention. Similarly, others should also be applied in this way. The difference between a Pratyekabuddha and others is this: when the last body is not obtained, without a teacher, one attains the state of a great Arhat. Because of direct realization, it is called a Pratyekabuddha. Becoming small in aspiration and small in application means that both intention and application are small, so it is small. Similarly, it is the same for others. The order of the condensed meaning of this chapter is not written, because it itself also says that here too, it should be known that ripening has six aspects, etc., as explained. The sixth chapter, the sequential division from the place of the fundamental yoga of the Bodhisattva ground, is completed. In short, the abandonment of two types and the two types of wisdom are called Bodhi.
