Those who engage in evil deeds with their bodies, those who engage in evil deeds with their speech, those who engage in evil deeds with their minds, those who slander the noble ones, and those who, possessing wrong views, have accepted the karma of wrong views, due to their karma, after dying in their bodies, will fall into evil destinies and evil realms, and be born in the hells. This is (the hell beings). The summarized meaning of the divine eye is: death and transference, birth, those who have been born, the body manifesting in various karmas, as well as subtle forms, and everywhere. These, called "what is seen, who sees, what with what characteristics, at what time, in what situation is seen," are not only these, but can also see other realms that are not of others. What are they? Whether it is appearance, whether it is a subtle part, whether it is an emanation, whether it is of the gods, whether it is pure, whether it is above, whether it is below, whether it is directly, one can see as you wish. This is for what purpose one sees and hears. The summarized meaning here is: to truly know the minds of other sentient beings and other individuals with the mind. For minds with desire, one also truly knows them as having desire. For minds free from desire, one also truly knows them as being free from desire. For minds with hatred, as well as minds with ignorance, for minds with afflictions and without afflictions, for small minds, for vast minds, for minds that have become great, and for immeasurable minds, one can thoroughly know. For minds with desire, one also truly knows them as minds with desire, etc. The summarized meaning of these six words is that for this mind that is entangled by all afflictions, one can also thoroughly know. For minds that are free from the entanglement of all afflictions, as well as the habitual tendencies related to afflictions, and minds that are unrelated to afflictions and have no habitual tendencies, one can also thoroughly know. The root of the meaning of the words all afflictions and no afflictions is: for the mind that has made wrong aspirations, one can also thoroughly

Know that, like this, the habits of afflictions, and the afflicted mind of someone with thoughts that are slightly mixed with impurities, and the mind that is completely entangled by afflictions are also fully known. The mind of the correct aspiration as taught is also fully known. The mind of making good aspirations that are contrary to this is also fully known. Not associated with the mind of afflictions and without latent tendencies, and the thought that is slightly without impurities, not afflicted, correctly making aspirations, and the inferior mind are also fully known. For example, the minds of all sentient beings born in the desire realm. The mind that is vast and has become vast, called the intermediate, is also fully known. For example, the minds of all sentient beings born in the form realm. The immeasurable mind is also fully known. The excellent mind, knowing, for example, the minds of all those born in the formless realm. Like these three, all the realms of the world, being in accordance with happiness, or being in accordance with suffering, or a feeling that is neither suffering nor happiness, the mind that is in accordance with this is also known. Knowing the minds of others, one person, which sentient being's mind is what, how, in what way, how much it exists closely, these are also simultaneously and truthfully fully known. Which are, are those of other sentient beings. What is, is the mind. How is it, associated with afflictions, having latent tendencies, not associated with afflictions and without latent tendencies, completely entangled by afflictions, separated from being completely entangled by afflictions. In what way is it, having afflictions and without afflictions. How much is it, inferior or excellent. Like this, knowing the minds of others, one alone, many sentient beings, which minds are what, how, in what way, how much they exist closely, these should also be understood through the power of meaning in this way. That is, the supernormal knowledges of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and so on.
