Just by adding "etc.," therefore, it neither increases nor decreases, neither abandons nor adds, that is what is called. In what is called "Bodhisattva who has obtained freedom in all places," what is "all"? It refers to external knowable objects and internal self-nature. Among them, external objects are of two types: exercising freedom over existing arising things, and exercising freedom over things other than existing things. Internal self-nature is also of two types: abiding as long as desired, and joyfully dying and being reborn without hindrance. So, what are these activities? The so-called activities are the meaning of the summary of activities, that is, temporarily and initially, one's own happiness is afflicted. Similarly, there are also four types of non-afflicted activities: acting is activity. Fully maturing one's own continuum, fully maturing others' continuum, upholding the sacred Dharma, and thoroughly destroying the opposing adversaries who are contrary to it. If these meanings are separated sequentially, they are summary, necessity, and order. The summary of happiness is like this: temporarily, what is summarized by this chapter is called this, or the summary of meaning is these, thus it is shown. Why are these shown as the summary of meaning? It is to explain the necessity. What is the so-called order? It is to explain the order. Initially, the meaning summarized only by meaning is established by the difference of types, so what is that unique meaning, whose meaning? It is the meaning of correct seeing, the so-called whose meaning refers to how many meanings there are. That unique meaning is, the so-called what, refers to how it exists, correctly shown. If the differences of types shown are understood in this way? It is understood through the method of direct perception, through those words, that is, through hearing, thinking, and meditating. The only one widely known in the world is understood through hearing, because all worldly people, for any object, with the intelligence that enters by following symbols, conventions, and familiarity, the views become the same, in short, in the conventional world, this is
