In order to hold that meaning, and in order to combine those things into those things, that result also arises from those things, and not from others, thus connect. If it is not so, then "if it has already become so" and so on, is a detailed explanation of the opposite situation. Here, if someone thinks that from the point of view of ability, a sprout exists in the seed, then there is no need to argue, so nothing is said at all. Because repeating the proof of what has already been established becomes a fault. If someone thinks that it has its own self-nature, then therefore one should say to him, "One should say this" and so on, to analyze. The fault of following is explained from the point of view of meaning through "for the dharma that has characteristics" and so on. Or, it is only because of roughness that it is not said. Because there is no certainty of cause and no certainty of result, there is no distinction made between "this is the cause, this is the result," therefore the proposition has the fault of conforming to the world and so on. In "what is the characteristic of not being born," "the characteristic of not being born" refers to not having obtained one's own characteristic. Through that inference, the proposition will be refuted, because one's own characteristic has not arisen, so by nature, just like before, there is no sprout in the seed. The dissimilar dharma refers to the fact that seeds and so on have their own characteristics such as form. This is also established for both parties because the other party has already admitted it. Therefore, it is said, "If the characteristic of being born is one" and so on. For the one who says that there is ability, there is also the same fault, because ability is not different from the result. If "the characteristic of having already been born is one," then for that, the fault of the proposition is the same as before, because the other manifestations of one's own characteristic having been born do not arise from the seed. In "if there is a cause, then it will arise depending on the conditions," "if there is a cause" refers to having ability, abiding nearby, or the seed not being completely destroyed and abandoned. For that, the example of "if it has five characteristics" and so on, only expresses refutation. Aiming at that support, for example

That which is called the eye-consciousness of the eye, although it is not material, it is known to exist because its function is visible. Likewise, this focuses on its own characteristics, meaning that the cause is not something to be followed and inferred. Like its function, for example, when the cause cannot be followed and inferred, the effect also changes in the same way, and the effect also functions in the same way. Therefore, it exists, like the cause. Or it can be done like this: a dry seed has no sprouts, although there is no separation, it cannot be grasped as having sprouts. For example, like the existence of mind or consciousness, different dharmas are the manifestation of sprouts from seeds. The same should be said of karma. What is meant by becoming a cause is that, like cooked rice, it is also thought that the sprout will also deteriorate. Or it is said that what will be transformed by the conditions of transformation is also true except for the conditions of transformation into a cause. They think like this, if there is no effect in the cause, then it is not allowed to be born, which means that it only appears in what exists, because it is established, like a vase, etc. It is not that no effort is made to establish the effect, which means that it can eliminate the contradictions with the world, etc. After such a complete examination, it is said that after a complete examination, it comes from manifest attachment, which is an unfinished word. What is meant by what has no cause of obscuration, or wanting to say that there is obscuration, etc., is saying that the reason is not established. If it is said that it exists, then existence is also the same, why not obscure the cause related to the effect, it is not allowed. What is meant by being related to the effect is that it is the same as the object, etc. If the other party knows that the reason is not established and makes it established, it means that the seed is obscured by the sprout, and if it exists, it is the effect. For example, if it changes like that, then if it is said like this, then here, a Shramana or a Brahmin or this Dharma practitioner, etc., does not want to say that it comes from its own nature, so what is there?
