Arising from discipline, arising from meditation, arising from hearing, arising from thinking, and arising from meditation other than that, arising from individual examination, and arising from benefiting sentient beings, thus it is said. The first is the object of investigation and analysis accomplished by faith. The remaining ones are accomplished by knowing shame and having modesty, accomplished by non-attachment and non-hatred, accomplished by non-ignorance, accomplished by diligence, accomplished by extreme pliancy, accomplished by mindfulness and equanimity, and objects accomplished by non-harming, apply them in order. Among them, "arising from meditation other than that," the so-called "other than that" refers to other than love and so on. These eight objects are also the antidote to the roots of unwholesomeness, as well as non-extremely pure and extremely pure, as well as view, and purifying obscurations, those also correspond to two words, three words, one word, one word in order. What is the difference between investigation and analysis that possesses proper attention? Thus, here some, the so-called "thus, here some" words, for example, are only for the sake of showing speech. The so-called attachment refers to being equal to all entanglements. The so-called clinging refers to being related to its cause. The so-called similarity refers to particularly grasping. The so-called severing of knots refers to being related to its cause. The so-called faintness refers to being very excessive. The so-called especially attached refers to not listening to the words of his guru and so on after fainting. The so-called transformed into especially attached refers to being related to the continuum of that. The so-called not seeing faults refers to being focused on that field because one is not satisfied with the characteristics of that. The so-called not knowing renunciation refers to completely not knowing renunciation, the opposite of those corresponds to the words of the so-called non-attachment and so on in order. What is truly accomplished? Thus, here

Therefore, here some hold onto "Mar" (Tibetan: མར།, Sanskrit Devanagari: घृत, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ghṛta, literal meaning: ghee) and so on. The words such as holding onto "Mar" are based on making offerings to the position of the Lama and other positions. Among them, the Lamas are those who are foremost because of benefiting, those who are foremost because of virtues, and those who are foremost because of lineage. In order to make offerings to them from the bottom of one's heart, it is expressed with five words. Combination is with one word. The so-called holding onto "Mar" is for the sake of the mother and following along, just like being pleasing. The so-called holding onto "Par" (Tibetan: ཕར།, Sanskrit Devanagari: पर, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: para, literal meaning: the other shore) is also the same as this. The so-called holding onto "ascetics" is to make the ascetics better. The so-called holding onto "Brahmins" is also the same as this. The so-called showing respect to the head of the lineage, the heads of the lineage are elder brothers and so on, showing respect to them is showing respect to them. The so-called "accomplishing meaning" refers to accomplishing all tasks. The so-called making offerings to others refers to what methods are used and what is done. These are also fully expressed by the words such as "doing things." Among them, the method is to proceed with reason, therefore it is only doing things. The so-called consideration is to fear bad things in both worlds, that is, to fear bad things in this life and the next. What to do? Giving Giving alms, doing meritorious deeds and so on. Also, the four characteristics of the benefactor and so on are from the Sutra of the Object of Merit, what is the object of merit arising from giving? For example, here some give to ascetics, Brahmins, the poor, the afflicted, guides, beggars, like this giving food, drink, bedding, food, vehicles, clothes, garlands, incense, perfume, dwellings, lamps and so on, thus making offerings, its fruit is enjoyment, this is a fragment of the Sutra Pitaka, the so-called desire.
