I. Because it is the most supreme of all sentient beings, it is supreme, because it possesses discipline, and because it has purely practiced brahmacharya for a long time, and because it is realized by the ancient great sages, because it understands the path, it is a great sage, because it has completely overcome all heretics and afflictive demons, it is completely victorious, because it does not possess all such as agitation and arrogance, and because it possesses the three abilities, it is the able one, because it cannot be taken away by all such as beings and external opponents, it is the un-taker, because it certainly washes away all sins, it is the bathed one, because it transcends all aggregates of existence, it is the one who has gone to the other shore. Similarly, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, possessor of knowledge and conduct, Sugata, Knower of the World, Tamer of Beings, Supreme, Teacher of Gods and Humans, Buddha, Bhagavan is also the same. Similarly, the sacred Dharma is well perfected, and all-knowing, and the lord of all, and the nature of non-forgetfulness, and the essence of sentient beings, and the elder brother, and not touched by happiness and suffering, and closing the doors of the senses, and because of being well-endowed, it is subdued, and because of properly taking vows and being well-endowed, it is peaceful, and because of entering the definite ground, it is breathing out, and because of understanding enlightenment, it is completely extinguished, and because of pulling out the arrow of craving, it is the arrow-puller, and taming the untamed and so on, and making peaceful like the former, and causing individual ordinary beings to enter the stream, and causing those who have not breathed out to breathe out in order to fully establish them in the fruit of once-returner, and causing those who have not completely extinguished to completely extinguish in order to fully establish those who abide in the first and second fruits in the fruit of non-returner and Arhatship, and without bondage, and breaking through the abyss, and transcending the abyss, and abandoning seeking, and the noble one, and destroying the victory banner, and also the one who always abides greatly.

Thus, the Arhat, the one with exhausted outflows, the one without afflictions, the one who has become empowered, the one whose mind is utterly liberated, the one whose wisdom is utterly liberated, the knower, the great elephant. The deed has been done, what was to be done has been done, the burden has been cast off, one has attained one's own benefit, the mind is utterly liberated by true knowledge, one has gone beyond the ultimate of all mental powers, and all bonds to existence are completely exhausted. Thus, it is also the one who has abandoned the five branches, possesses the six branches, is unmixed, possesses reliance, and is even called the unsurpassed person. Thus, it is also up to knowing the Dharma and knowing who is a superior person and who is not. Thus, it is also a renunciate, a Brahmin, the immaculate, the one free from defilements, a physician, a leader, the all-seeing, the protector of the world, and the supreme among beings. Among them, the immaculate is because the obscurations of afflictions have been abandoned. The one free from defilements is because the obscurations of knowledge have been abandoned. Again, the immaculate is because the root of all entanglements has been severed. The one free from defilements is because the habitual tendencies have been completely destroyed. The all-seeing is because they observe the world six times day and night. Thus, the body is adorned and clear because the marks and excellent signs of a great being are completely and utterly pure in every way, possessing the power of the ten strengths, unshaken by the four fearlessnesses, possessing great compassion, with mindfulness well established in the three close placements of mindfulness, possessing the three non-protections, having the nature of not forgetting, having completely destroyed all habitual tendencies of afflictions, and also knowing all aspects and the supreme. Among them, because of having practiced correctly for three countless eons and having become thoroughly familiar over a long period of time, and because of focusing on the basis of all sentient beings, and because of focusing on all aspects of suffering, and because of encountering all kinds of harm done by all sentient beings and not turning back, and because of equality towards all sentient beings.
