Seeing the Dharma is seeing suffering and so on as they truly are. Attaining the Dharma is attaining the fruits of the ascetic in accordance. Realizing the Dharma means that when it is attained, I have attained it. I have entered the stream, know that I am not of the nature of falling away. Reaching the depths of the Dharma means knowing through the power of realizing the truth, and for the sake of gaining faith. For the teacher, the Dharma, the Sangha, and oneself, to thoroughly understand the precepts that please the noble ones in all aspects, as they truly are. Transcending doubt is about one's own realization. Transcending hesitation is about the realizations of others. Not relying on others means that one has truly realized the Dharma oneself, and not from hearing it from others, etc. Not being taken away by others means that the teacher's teachings are not taken away by all the opposing heretics. Obtaining fearlessness towards all dharmas means that even if others ask about that realization, there is no fear of shrinking back. Manifestly transcending, called manifestly transcending, means correctly entering the path that is the opposite of the mundane. Saying it twice means not turning back from complete manifest transcendence. Other names should also be understood as conventional designations and ultimate Dharma. How is it that the detailed explanation of "appearing as a disease" is understood, that is, how does it appear as a disease, etc.? To this, the detailed explanation is "this disease is not this," however, it is initially refuted in this way by means of impermanence, etc. When one focuses on it in the mind, because one does not want to associate with it, one grasps it as incompatible, like a disease, etc. Therefore, impermanence and other aspects are mentioned at the end, and that appearance is the fruit of being completely permanent there. What is called impermanence is seeing the passing of moments of life. When moments pass, for example, with direct perception and wisdom that does not rely on others, seeing that this and that touch arise and cease in all ways, and that this and that feeling arise and cease in a continuum, like that. What is called suffering is that there are two kinds of suffering, the suffering of birth, etc.

Suffering, whatever is felt, that is called suffering here. By observing the passing moments of life, one tends towards it in various ways, that is, after death, one is born. Having been born, one suffers from aging and so on, therefore, whatever is impermanent is suffering, through the passing of birth, one tends towards suffering itself. If asked, how is it that whatever is felt is called suffering here? The feeling of pleasure suffers from the suffering of change itself. Suffering suffers from the suffering of suffering itself by arising and abiding. Neither pleasure nor suffering is suffering because of its impermanent and destructive nature. Among these, pleasure completely changes because of impermanence. Suffering arises because of impermanence. It abides because it constantly occurs. Neither suffering nor pleasure, destruction is impermanence, arising is the nature of destruction, although it has been destroyed, it is not separated from those two, because it is connected with those two, therefore, it is also suffering. If asked, how should the feeling of pleasure be seen as the nature of suffering? To this, attachment will increase. And also, in the future life, one will completely cling to suffering, and in this life, it will also cause the suffering of change, therefore, it should be seen as the nature of suffering. If asked, how should suffering be seen as the nature of a thorn? If it manifests, it harms like a thorn. Neither pleasure nor suffering, that is said to be the nature of impermanence and change, what is destroyed is impermanence. What is not destroyed is the nature of destruction, whatever is impermanent, pleasure or suffering will not arise from it. The one with the nature of destruction is the one who has not completely liberated himself from pleasure and suffering. What is called emptiness is being separated from the "self" of permanent, stable, and unchanging nature. Selflessness is dependent arising and lack of autonomy. Appearance is by nature. Completely appearing is what should be completely understood and abandoned. Badly appearing is what has not been completely understood and abandoned.
