A Collection of Categories from the Treatise on the Grounds of Yoga Practice. Asanga. A Collection of Categories from the Treatise on the Grounds of Yoga Practice. Asanga. Herein Resides the Collection of Categories. A Collection of Categories from the Treatise on the Grounds of Yoga Practice. The general summary is: the white side and the black side. These categories are correctly explained. In order to thoroughly understand with meaning, the general outline is collected. The outline is: showing, supreme nature, and wisdom, these four. Likewise, well-spoken, and the existence of a topic, and giving, and the extensive discipline path. Among these, the shower is the Thus-Gone One. The supreme shower is the supreme ones among his disciples, such as the venerable Shariputra and others. The subsequent shower is the Acharya and, the Khenpo and, the Dharma friends and, those who encourage and, those who remind. Among these, the shower is the one who causes to show. The supreme shower is the one who causes to supremely show. The subsequent shower is the one who causes to subsequently show. Because of allowing actions and, preventing non-actions and, instructions from time to time and, causing to thoroughly engage in subsequent teachings, those themselves are to be known as speaking and, supremely speaking and, subsequently speaking. The guide is the one who punishes those who strive for non-actions. The one who leads is the one who truly pleases those who strive for actions. The supreme guide is the one who truly encourages both of those. The one who causes to guide is the one who repeatedly dispels doubts that have arisen and occurred. The one who causes to lead is the one who repeatedly dispels regrets. The one who causes to supremely lead is the one who repeatedly dispels afflictions and near afflictions. Furthermore, severing doubts and, distinguishing what has not been truly distinguished and, clarifying the meanings that have been distinguished and, after repeatedly understanding the profound meanings and words with wisdom, in order to extensively and correctly show them supremely, the order of the one who causes to guide and so forth is in accordance. The Acharya should be acknowledged as the position of the Lama. The second is making friends, in order to follow in accordance with that. Friend.

A good friend is an old friend from the time of being a householder. Affection is for parents and those related to them. Loving-kindness is helping without expecting anything in return. "Meaning" refers to pursuing meaning and having meaning. Desiring this is desiring meaning. "Benefit" refers to practicing virtue. Desiring this is desiring benefit. Comfort is the happiness obtained through things that benefit the body and mind. Desiring this is desiring comfort. Desire is based on the happiness of the present life. Accomplishment and desiring comfort are based on the happiness of future lives. Complete faith is having complete faith in everything. Having heard of the excellence of qualities, abilities, and wisdom, it is first through the basis of a person. Similarly, being in accordance with the basis of the Dharma and the door of wisdom is the first, that is, under whose influence signs of joy such as "hair standing on end" and "tears flowing" arise. Through certainty, even without having heard of qualities, etc., one believes that he has qualities from his behavior, conduct, and way of being. Aspiration is wanting to do something and wanting to obtain something. Diligence is the joy of initiating the mind of diligence. Effort is the effort towards that action after having made joy. Determination is not abandoning the diligence that has been initiated and continuing constantly, that is, not turning back. Exertion is diligently striving with respect. Ability is the preparation of thinking in advance, "I will initiate such and such diligence" after night or time has passed. Effort is how to allocate preparation, or to initiate diligence with particular effort. Joy is seeing the benefit of the fruit of the diligence that has been initiated. Enduring joy is, in accordance with this, accepting harm such as cold. Complete joy is the diligence of having faith arise in order to obtain a higher level of distinction after knowing the difference between before and after. Non-reversal is not giving up halfway, not being lazy, even if one only recognizes a small or slightly insufficient difference, that is, not being satisfied with cultivating virtue. Correctly gathering the mind is diligence.
