This begins with various Dharma categories of the Sakya school. "As its retinue" means that the four retinues, such as the royal lineage, are all suitable for listening to the Dharma. "With a loving heart" means wanting to understand that meaning and benefit from it. "With a beneficial heart" means that one should respectfully listen to the Dharma in any way possible, and understand everything, thus thinking that it will be beneficial to them. "With a compassionate heart" means wanting to practice the Dharma that is in accordance with the Dharma. "Not relying on gain, respect, and praise" means not bowing down and prostrating because of Dharma robes, etc., but only thinking that others will be lazy and lax, thus explaining in detail. "Not praising oneself and not slandering others" means that because of greed for gain and respect, one says that one knows all the scriptures, precepts, and treatises, but you do not know, thus widely not proclaiming one's own merits, nor proclaiming the faults of others. "Listening to the Dharma at the right time" means that one sees that the time for speaking has matured, thinking that one's words can bring many benefits, and also knowing that it will not become an obstacle for others, thus speaking after knowing the time. "Respectfully" means sitting on a low seat with a humble heart, and listening to the Dharma as much as one can, so that one's behavior becomes perfect. "Listening respectfully" means asking questions at the very beginning in order to be able to understand in detail the meaning that has not yet been understood, and also to eliminate doubts about the meaning that has already been understood. "Not abandoning" means especially excellent. "Following" means both equality and inferiority. "Respectfully serving the Dharma" means listening with respect after understanding its great fruit and great benefits. "To the Dharma speaker" means that the speaker is this person. "Not despising the Dharma" means not despising it by saying that these are not good words and sentences, but saying that these words and letters are shallow. "To the Dharma speaker" means not despising him by saying that this person is of low caste and has bad Dharma because he is the master. To oneself
