Thinking without substance, and showing existence and non-existence, is also disguised as the true Dharma. Some people say this, the Blessed One praised and extolled the closing of the doors of the senses, praising it greatly, therefore not looking at forms is to establish the highest mindfulness, looking is not so, for the dharmas to be known by consciousness, it should also be understood in the same way, saying this is also disguised as the true Dharma. Some people say this, the Blessed One praised and extolled dwelling in a place smaller than the heart, therefore not following the thoughts of what is worthy of praise, not making universal observations, not praising not speaking is the highest, praising speaking and not praising speaking is not so, saying this is also disguised as the true Dharma. Some people say this, the Blessed One praised and extolled appropriate speech, therefore alas, in all of everything, not speaking taking asceticism properly, that is good, saying this is also disguised as the true Dharma. Some people say this, the Blessed One praised and extolled eating little, and wearing few Dharma robes, therefore alas, in all of everything, not eating and dwelling, and wandering naked, that is good, saying this, is also disguised as the true Dharma. Some people say this, the Blessed One praised and extolled no noise, and all the limits of speech and actions are cut off, therefore alas, dwelling in a remote dwelling, without fabrication, that is good, saying this is also disguised as the true Dharma. Some people say that this world is led and drawn by the mind, therefore it changes according to the power of all mind-born things, for the Sutras similar to it, because they do not know as it is, they must grasp, saying this, this consciousness itself connects, reincarnates, and I am not other, saying this, is also disguised as the true Dharma. Some people say that the Blessed One, for a man with discipline, giving food with a hundred flavors, and hundreds of thousands of clothes, is not so, those desires that hinder

If one is certain that even if one engages in wrongdoing, it will not be interrupted, and if one holds such a certainty and says, "Alas, which desires did the Blessed One say would cause obstacles, that even if pursued, they would not cause obstacles?" this is also a corruption of the holy Dharma. Some, Arhats, do not know as it is whether to accept or not to accept food, names, aggregates, elements, and sense bases in this life. They say, "I understand the Dharma taught by the Blessed One in this way: that an Arhat Bhikshu like this does not accept anything after death." This is also a corruption of the holy Dharma. Some, not knowing as it is the difference between conventional and ultimate truth, go far beyond these two ways and say, "If there are selfless beings, how can the karma done by the selfless touch me?" It should be known that this is also a corruption of the holy Dharma. Some, naturally ignorant, teach, but they do not know as it is the nine ways of abiding in the inner mind, nor do they know as it is the analysis of truth and the analysis of mindfulness. Because they do not know it as it is, they consider only the mental activity arising from faith as showing the aspect of calm abiding, only the mental activity arising from faith as showing the aspect of insight, and only the mental activity arising from faith as showing the ultimate, and they themselves also enter into it in this way. This is also a corruption of the holy Dharma. Some regret what should not be regretted, and boast of it. This is also a corruption of the holy Dharma. Some, although they have the power to receive teachings, recite, and engage in yogic mental activity, are fond of idle talk, and regard it as a virtue, and also teach it to others. This is also a corruption of the holy Dharma. Some, although they have the power to practice the virtues arising from discipline and meditation, regard giving as a virtue, and because they wander in the world, they blame themselves with many places of downfall, causing themselves to decline, and then do the act of giving.
