From that point on, practicing as before until complete liberation, this is called seeing the unconditioned Dharma. A Bhikshu who possesses this is worthy of being called one who sees the unconditioned Dharma. It should also be understood that seeing the Dharma exists in three types of individuals: those who follow faith and enter the Dharma that accords with the Dharma, those who are skilled in calming the mind and properly practice the Dharma according to reason, as well as those who see the four trainings, and also in the Arhats who have exhausted the outflows. Those who aspire and practice Brahmacharya in order to manifest the perfections of gods and humans should know that they will incur two faults of gods and humans. What are the two? The suffering born from afflictions and the suffering born from impermanence itself. What is the suffering born from afflictions? Gods and humans abide in joy with objects of the senses from the perspective of the present time, and they also rejoice in objects of the senses from the perspective of the past time. In the present time, they rejoice in objects of the senses because they rely on the joy of past objects of the senses, and in the future time, they manifestly rejoice in objects of the senses because they rely on the joy of present objects of the senses. Thus, it should be known that those who are universally afflicted in the three times will experience the suffering that arises from not obtaining desires, as well as the suffering of birth, aging, and so on. This is the fault of generating suffering that arises from universal affliction. What is the suffering that arises from impermanence itself? The suffering of change arises from separation and alteration from those things that are in harmony with happiness, and the suffering of aversion arises from encountering those things that are in harmony with suffering, and the suffering of cessation arises from the destruction of all bodies at the time of death. These three aspects should be understood as the suffering that arises from impermanence itself. Therefore, the Tathagata transcends those two faults, and thus is definitely abiding in happiness alone. That happiness should also be known, as well as what can become happiness, and the means of that happiness. What is happiness? Afflictions that are in accordance with all objects
