It is distinguished. Another is distinguished by the key instructions of the object of focus and the liberation of the mind. For this purpose, the Tathagatas arise, and the Shravakas also follow the teachings, and they truly unite with these virtuous dharmas. For any Vinaya in which there is no abiding in pure conduct, there is no pure conduct, because there is no practice of pure conduct there. For those who have no pure conduct, the wrongdoings committed by those who have mutually pledged as teacher and disciple will harm the teacher or the attendant. Here, both exist. Therefore, the emptiness of attaining great fruits and great benefits is not directly realized and cultivated. Instead, one is robbed by the taste of inferior and sinful gains and honors, and the wrongdoings committed are to be known as being harmed by the great harm of pure conduct. Therefore, attachment to gains and honors also harms oneself. One does not want to hear the talks that are in accordance with liberation, and one does not listen even when they are preached. Even if one listens, one listens for the sake of gains and honors, but not with the intention of knowing. One does not diligently practice, and because one is not tamed, one does not tame others, and one does not even prevent sorrow. In this way, one acts like an enemy of the Teacher, because one harms those who are close with great benefits in return. Therefore, the essence of the sutra is this: Having renounced in the well-spoken Vinaya, one has not entered into the state of what I should diligently practice in four ways, nor has one entered into the state of diligently practicing for the Teacher, nor has one entered into the state of what one has renounced for in the teachings. That is to say, abiding in the realm of demons, following the talks of those who only believe in sounds, being attached to gains and honors, and arising from attachment to them, listening to the sacred Dharma but not for the benefit of oneself and the benefit of others. The Tathagata wishes to completely gather the Sangha.

Because they do not wish to gather, but only out of love for sentient beings. Because they are able to refute the Shravakas who practice perversely without any reservation. Being able to refute the Shravakas, and speaking harshly but beneficially, even if it leads to turning away from this Dharma and Vinaya, it will be very beneficial to them, but it is not so for those who stay here and practice perversely. In summary: detachment from desire and non-detachment from desire, cause and condition and path, the mind is not stable towards life, and the place of attachment is vast everywhere. A Bhikshu, whether detached from desire or not, is completely entangled in the five objects of desire and the objects known by consciousness in the three times, and the three aspects of the root of their sleep-like afflictions. If they are completely defiled, there is no possibility of completely liberating from suffering in this life. In this regard, from the perspective of the past, consciousness relies on it; from the perspective of the future, it depends on it; from the perspective of the present, consciousness clings to it. Because its root of sleep-like afflictions exists in the continuum and is related to it, consciousness will grasp it. Conversely, if it is not completely defiled, there is a possibility of completely liberating from suffering in this life. It should be understood that these four are what those who enter this Dharma and Vinaya inquire about truthfully and correctly. For example, a householder or the son of a householder has faith, a Bhikshu is proficient through hearing, sits in front of the teacher and serves, and the teacher himself. The Tathagata is shy about the request of the Shravakas, and in order to see the unknown, to eliminate future faults, and to make the true Dharma abide for a long time, knowing full well, he asks the Shravakas for two reasons. The cause of the six aggregates of consciousness is two, the six internal sources are the cause, and the six external sources are the condition. For example, the six sources are them

It is the place of seeds, because the acquired birth will surely transform into one form. The place is one but exists in many forms. In general, all afflictions should be understood through two causes: what is the nature of all-pervasive afflictions, and what is its path. Among them, the nature is the desire of craving, because it is the root of all all-pervasive afflictions. Its path is the internal and external birthplaces, which are the distinctions of what is grasped and what grasps. Bhikshus, by walking or abiding, truly seeing the two places, relying on proper attention, one can liberate the mind from the two all-pervasive afflictions. What are the two places? They are not trusting life, and dying with an unwholesome mind leads to bad destinies. What does proper attention rely on? From which two all-pervasive afflictions should the mind be liberated? Even if my own birthplaces are struck by various weapons and become unsuitable, that is easy. But it is not acceptable that I die with an unwholesome mind and be born in evil realms. How can I be happy and have inner happiness, so that I can correctly discern the methods to counteract all unwholesome actions? After examining in this way, one should meditate on the impermanence of all phenomena. Therefore, when walking, one can be liberated from the all-pervasive afflictions of grasping at characteristics of objects and grasping at signs. Or, when abiding in an extremely secluded place, one can be liberated from the all-pervasive afflictions of unwholesome thoughts. Among them, the first all-pervasive affliction is like a cause, and the second should be understood as like a result. Therefore, when abiding in the two all-pervasive afflictions, two places will arise: not trusting life, and only at the time of death, dying with an unwholesome mind leads to bad destinies. Therefore, even for a moment, one should strongly generate the observation of the faults of the two all-pervasive afflictions, as well as shame and embarrassment, let alone what happens frequently? These are
