I, born in that and that kind of place, due to encountering women, after eight or nine months have passed, boys and girls are born. After they are born in this way, some of them exhaust their lives in that very moment and die in the intermediate state. Furthermore, some here remain for the duration of their lifespan, living and dwelling, staying and surviving, experiencing happiness, suffering, and the state of feeling that is neither suffering nor happiness, due to the distinctions of feeling states, the phenomena arising from the mind are all new, not old. These two are self-praise and disparagement of others, that is to say, acting merely with words, and acting by showing and diligently accomplishing. Among them, those who praise themselves and disparage others merely with words, with a mind that is overwhelmed and completely seized by the Dharma of non-noble persons, will degrade themselves among the noble ones, and will not praise themselves. Those who praise and diligently accomplish are those who do not praise or disparage, and they will also praise themselves and disparage others. The Dharma taught by the Tathagatas quickly eliminates two kinds of ignorance: belief in what is not the true Dharma, which has arisen from a long time, and what has recently arisen. Likewise, not knowing the path to go to the good realms that are born together, and not knowing the path to go to Nirvana in this life. If the eleven phenomena belonging to formations are gathered together into one, they become a collection of formations, and the meaning of collection should be understood as the meaning of aggregates. From the perspective of determining one cause of all afflictions, one should know that the aggregates of grasping are established. From the perspective of the two causes of all afflictions and purification, one should know that conditioned phenomena with outflows and without outflows are established. It should be known that there are three ways in which afflictions arise in formations, namely, the basis, the object, and the companion. The Compendium of Topics from the Yogācārabhūmi, sixth fascicle. Summary: Few actions and nature, etc., the teachings of the noble ones are of three kinds, transforming like the true Dharma, the nature of all minds.

Is the state of ignorance. Does not answer and transforms. To the teacher is speaking, View is perfect with three. Outsiders are all signs of children. Thus, the Tathagatas, with three causes, enter into meditation in a state of dwelling in little. In that instant, the matter of taming is completed, and they wish to dwell happily in this life. The Hearers diligently practice and cultivate, and those who engage in taming, which has many meanings and many actions, do so for the sake of taming. All the causes for dwelling during the day and establishing correctly within should be understood here as before. These four are the nature of taming by those who tame, such as those who are completely ignorant, those who are careless, those who are timid, and those who have entered correctly. With four aspects, respect arises in four places. By dwelling, one quickly attains the unsurpassed. A strong desire arises for what is to be attained, and the means to be attained, such as diligently practicing the Dharma that is in accordance with the Dharma, a strong attachment arises to that, a strong miserliness arises towards the teacher, and a strong faith arises in the Dharma taught by him. There are three unsurpassed things, such as unsurpassed knowledge, unsurpassed path, and unsurpassed liberation. Among them, unsurpassed knowledge is the knowledge of exhaustion, the knowledge of non-arising, and the right view of no more learning. The path of quick and easy manifestation is the unsurpassed path. The liberation of mind without degeneration is the unsurpassed liberation. Those are gathered as knowledge, abandonment, and dwelling happily in this life, it should be known by name. What is the knowledge to be learned, what is the path, and what is the liberation, those are not unsurpassed, because they are surpassed. All the paths of the Arhats should be known as manifest, easy to practice, and quick, because they have destroyed all the bad migrations and accomplished what has to be done. Relying on the factors in harmony with enlightenment, when the Sugata well distinguishes the formations, knowing the view of the perishable collection in four aspects at two times, after two times, one obtains the exhaustion of defilements.
