What is entering (this) place? The body of change is not in a place separate from existence, therefore, the two are combined into one, and a single nature is attributed to them. Conversely, one should understand the three characteristics of the unconditioned and its permanence. It should be understood that these three are obstacles to accumulating the provisions for Nirvana, namely, being reckless due to the great extent of karma and the abundance of enjoyment, and without the encouragement of a virtuous friend, dying without having heard or attained the Dharma, encountering any untimely cause of death. Conversely, one should understand the three that are without interruption. These two are signs of the death of a noble one and the noble one who has transcended time, such as, at the time of death, the faculties are subdued, and the prophecy of the Teacher. The Teacher, when a noble one passes away, prophesies in three ways that he is a noble one, namely, because he possesses lineage, he prophesies that he has become wealth, and "he understands what is in accordance with my Dharma," where "Dharma" refers to the path that is preceded by right view. The Dharma that is in accordance with it is the sound of the other shore that originates from that Dharma, which is the basis for proper attention. For example, from the perspective of the Dharma, "it will not harm me." Its meaning is the meaning spoken by the Tathagatas, and the meaning of what is said, for example, in order to exhaust the outflows, therefore the exhaustion of the outflows is also obtained by this. These two are the wondrous and marvelous Dharmas of the Tathagata, such as, causing the non-believers to believe, causing the believers to increase, and in order to quickly enter this doctrine. For example, starting from the aspect of being a teacher, or the aspect of teaching the Dharma, or the aspect of attaining supreme accomplishment, spreading widely in all directions and regions, possessing good reputation, and possessing words and verses, abandoning causelessness and heterodoxy, and teaching the true cause, such as causelessness, and teaching heterodoxy, such as the wise ones in order to go to happy realms and liberation.

If it is not a place of faith, how can one enter, and how can one seriously practice? To speak of the true cause, one should understand it from the opposite of this. The aspects of the teacher are like this: For example, the Blessed One is the Thus-Gone One, the Arhat, up to the Blessed One, just as it appears from the collection of detailed names. The aspects of the teaching are like this: Teaching the sacred Dharma, First, add the word "virtue" in detail, and these should also be understood from the collection of names. The aspects of attaining the supreme attainment are like this: He, with his own supernormal knowledge, fully awakened to this world and the world beyond, starting from "fully enlightened," elaborately explained. The desire realm is this world. The form and formless realms are the world beyond. The second type of name is understood from the distinction of the collection of present, future, and past. Because there is no teacher, it is self. What is called supernormal knowledge refers to the six types of supernormal knowledge. What is called manifest is because of the manifest object of focus. What is called accomplished is because it has become the most excellent of all sentient beings. Because the excellent one himself knows and also teaches others, he is an explainer. Those who speak of causelessness enter into the belief that phenomena are causeless in two ways, because they do not understand the cause of the arising of phenomena and the cause of their destruction, that is, what arises that causes which phenomena to arise, and what ceases that causes which to cease. They do not perceive these two, but they do perceive phenomena, so they observe in this way and say: Whatever exists, that is only what exists. Whatever does not exist, that is only what does not exist. For what does not exist, there is no arising. For what exists, there is no destruction. Those who speak in this way are, in three situations, slandering the obvious, gross, and directly perceived aspects of the arising and ceasing of phenomena, which are known by all beings in the world, such as: the royal caste, the Brahmins, the Vaishyas,
