Not doing, relying on virtue from the six doors, namely mindfulness, correct abandonment, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, branches of enlightenment, and branches of the path. The Tathagata wishes to speak of the difference between the Shravakas and himself in engaging in self-benefit and benefiting others. Therefore, the power of the learners is these five. The Tathagata said that the power of the Tathagata is ten. Among them, the Shravaka who possesses the five powers of a learner and engages in benefiting others, upon obtaining the supreme fruit of Arhatship, immediately perfects his own benefit. The Tathagata, having attained Arhatship, engages in benefiting others with the ten powers, and benefiting others is his own benefit. When all the deeds of taming are completely perfected, and he completely passes into the realm of Nirvana without remainder of aggregates, then it should be known that the deed has been done and the meaning has been perfected. The Arhat is one who engages in his own benefit, and benefiting others is his own benefit. Therefore, by these two reasons, he is also superior to the Shravakas. The extensive differentiation of the ten powers of the Tathagata should be understood as it appears in the Bodhisattva grounds. If a person desires self-benefit, is without deceit, is not fraudulent, is upright, and desires to realize his own meaning, he will be deceived by the four causes in the Dharma Vinaya that speaks of faults. There is no deception in what is well-spoken. What are the four? They are the teaching of the holy Dharma, the true instruction, the subsequent teaching, and understanding and realization in accordance with the Dharma. Among them, the place of faith is called listening to the holy Dharma, for the sake of abandoning causelessness and unfavorable causes, and possessing wisdom and fully revealing the meaning of the true cause. Among them, the true instruction and the subsequent teaching, whatever Dharma is endowed with showing the means of abandonment, and is contained in words and meaning, those will make manifest the previous four of faith and the Dharmas that have become places. If one desires self-benefit.

That son of good family, if he is capable in the Vinaya, entering this Dharma Vinaya, it is truly taught and truly advised, and will quickly become excellent. He relies on the four mindfulnesses, and what should be understood is truly understood, and what should be obtained is also obtained. Through the door of conditioned phenomena, whatever wise people hold to be existent and hold to be non-existent is also well known; through the door of unconditioned phenomena, from the peak of existence downwards, Nirvana is superior to the superior, and unsurpassed to the unsurpassed. Knowing this well is truly understanding. Relying on mindfulness, the mind is equally placed, and by meditating on the seven branches of enlightenment, realizing knowledge and liberation, this should be known as realization. If that son of good family enters a wrongly preached Dharma Vinaya, then he will be gathered because he has not obtained these places. Summary: Distinction and difference, foods and order, the place of contact and the distinction of jewels, meditation is also the last. It should be known that the branches of enlightenment are distinguished by the differences of tranquility and insight, and the aspects that are in accordance with both, just as it arises from the Hearers. It should be known that the seven branches of enlightenment become fourteen through the differences of nature, object, and the characteristics of the base. The distinction by the two, object and the four characteristics, is like this: it should be known as arising from the ground of meditative stabilization and the ground of the Hearers. For the dharmas of the place of the branches of enlightenment, the two kinds of attention are known to be the food of the branches of enlightenment in their entirety, like this: inappropriate attention and constant attention. What is contrary to that should be known as non-food. If any of the limbs are incomplete in the beginning, middle, and end, then true realization will not be accomplished. From the distinction of how the appropriate support and the supported enter, it is known that the gradual arising is shown.
