door. The first door is the samadhi arising from the power of aspiration. The second is that arising from the power of diligence. The third is that arising from the power of mind. The fourth should be understood as the samadhi arising from the power of investigation. The distinctions of the remaining and abandoning perceptions are as follows: as it appears in the Hearer's Ground. Noble ones, relying on the cultivation of the feet of miraculous power, manifestly accomplish the miraculous power of the noble ones. From this, externalists do not cultivate the feet of miraculous power in order to accomplish the miraculous power of the noble ones. Noble ones, having accomplished the miraculous power of the noble ones, if they wish to remain, they can generate the formations of life and remain for a kalpa or more than a kalpa, even until the end of that kalpa. A person whose lineage has become extremely pure is called a wish-fulfilling jewel, and this should be regarded as unique to this Dharma. Even with the miraculous power of the noble one's emanation, one cannot transform the nature of things, that is, one cannot transform the faculties, mind, mental factors, actions, and the ripening of actions. Among these, if it is an action that will be experienced as pleasure, one cannot transform it into experiencing suffering through miraculous power, because this is contrary to its nature. Just as an action that can be experienced as pleasure cannot be transformed into experiencing suffering, it should be known that an action that can be experienced as suffering cannot be transformed into experiencing pleasure. If it is an action that will be experienced as neither suffering nor pleasure, one cannot bless it with the miraculous power of blessing, making it constantly experience neither suffering nor pleasure, or making it not experience neither suffering nor pleasure. If it is an action that is experienced in this life, one cannot transform it with the miraculous power of transforming time, making it experienced in the next life, or transforming an action that will be experienced in the next life into being experienced in this life. In summary, various
