For those who are in accordance with the realization of the worldly right view, they abide therein. Because of clinging to the three bases as self, the view of the aggregation of destruction, along with its latent tendencies, becomes the basis for views of permanence and annihilation, and this should be fully understood along with its consequences. What is taken? What takes? How does it take? These are the three bases. What is taken? It is the five aggregates of clinging. What takes? It is the four clingings. How does it take? It is through the four abodes of consciousness. These are, in order, the aggregates, the clinging, and the abodes of the mind. Because they are endowed with pervasive confusion and unreasonableness, their aim is attachment to the view of the aggregation of destruction. Latent tendencies should be understood as before. What is the path of realization? It is that by abiding in which one will abandon attachment to the three bases of the view of the aggregation of destruction, along with its latent tendencies, and also, in understanding the truth, one will not rely on others. For the view that should be fully understood, whoever abides in it is both attached to the three bases in terms of self and also has latent tendencies. Since one does not understand the arising and ceasing of phenomena, one also has no opportunity to enter the Middle Way, so how can one expect to be liberated by it? Abiding in accordance with realization is being free from attachment to the three bases in terms of self, but it is endowed with latent tendencies. Knowing the arising and ceasing of phenomena is entering the Middle Way, which is free from the two extremes, but this is not liberation, but rather has the potential for liberation. The right view that is realized by realizing the truth has no attachment to the three bases in terms of self and no latent tendencies, and has already entered the Middle Way, and by this one will be liberated. The difference between those who abide in these views should be understood to be this. In summary: Realization, swiftness, complete body, knowledge and knowable, samsara, contentment, grasping, conduct, continuity, aspect, complete understanding, decline, and signs.

And the establishment of knowledge, and what is contrary to harmony, and the activities of the Sage, etc., are the last of the great categories. In order to attain the unobtained, perfectly accomplished, and ultimate liberation, the three dharmas quickly manifest realization, namely: the power of knowledge, the power of mindfulness, and the power of habituation. Among these, one who abides in the power of knowledge immediately becomes one who has the potential to exhaust all outflows. This is to be understood as the knowledge and vision of learning. Among these, the power of mindfulness refers to diligently practicing the path of having obtained such knowledge and vision, and constantly guarding one's mind from all sinful and unwholesome dharmas. Among these, the power of habituation refers to constantly engaging in and abiding in that which is diligently practiced. Thinking, whether today, tomorrow, or the day after, may my mind be free from grasping and liberated from all outflows, one does not become weary by manifestly fabricating a reversed mind. If there is no weariness, then one will not completely lose heart. If one does not completely lose heart, then one will not abandon the effort to exhaust the outflows. Among these, what is the difference between knowledge and vision? Answer: The wisdom that is focused on past and future hidden objects is knowledge. That which is focused on objects arising in the present is vision. Furthermore, that which is focused on the grasped is knowledge. That which is focused on the grasper is vision. Furthermore, that which arises from hearing and thinking is knowledge. That which arises from meditation is vision. Furthermore, that by which one abandons afflictions is knowledge. The wisdom of abandonment and liberation is vision. Furthermore, that which is focused on its own characteristic is knowledge. That which is focused on the general characteristic is vision. Furthermore, relying on imputation, internal and external formations such as the so-called self, or sentient being, or deva, or naga, or yaksha, or asura, or garuda, or kinnara, or mahoraga, or army, or forest, or house, or mountain, and so forth.
