Not being content with just that, in order to further exhaust the defilements, one generates aspiration and focuses, thereby generating bodhicitta. Regarding the worldly path, thinking that this is not a way to definitively escape suffering forever, but rather seeing it as a fault, this is the first way of generating bodhicitta in order to completely transcend the path to good rebirths. He attentively directs his mind, and for all those things that savor the existence of good rebirths, he sees them as faults. Like turning the mind away from terrifying non-Buddhists, he strives diligently to completely liberate himself from suffering in this life, and correctly enters the one path that can attain liberation, that is his way of completely transcending. Through the path of meditation, he gradually becomes weary of samsara, and therefore enters into all the meditative states below the peak of existence. If he experiences that ultimate equanimity, then due to carelessness, he will not be able to completely liberate himself from suffering in this life, but will become a non-returner, this is his way of going further in the next life. If he also correctly sees that as a fault, and does not experience that equanimity, then in this life he will rely on the remaining aggregates of complete knowledge, thereby attaining complete liberation, that is his way of liberating from suffering. Through that way, he truly and completely understands his own liberation from completely transcending the path to good rebirths, and the Buddhas and other Shravakas of the Buddha also truly understand that. Among them, the very first clear way is to be understood as completely transcending the path to bad rebirths. The latter four ways of generating bodhicitta, completely transcending, going further, and liberating from suffering, are to be understood as completely transcending the path to good rebirths. From the Compendium of Matters in the "Yogacarabhumi-sastra", the twentieth fascicle. These two are the defilements of those noble Shravakas who desire to see the four fruits, who have not yet separated from desire, namely the defilements of desire and rebirth.

These are the afflictions arising from existence. From these two, the noble Śrāvakas should purify their minds completely. Among them, when the noble Śrāvakas strive to abandon the afflictions of desire, they ultimately rely on the three paths of going to immovability, going to the realm of nothingness, and going to the realm of neither perception nor non-perception, and enter into immovability, nothingness, and the realm of neither perception nor non-perception. This is through the door of the antidote of abandonment and the antidote of postponement, thereby completely liberating from the afflictions of desire. Furthermore, when striving to abandon the afflictions arising from existence, one becomes detached from desires, but not yet detached from forms, thinking: "May I not become, may I not become mine. I will not change, nor will I be changed." Whatever exists and whatever will arise, I will also abandon. Then, again cultivating the antidote path arising from existence, thereby detaching from the desire for form, and entering into the realm of neither perception nor non-perception. If he experiences the taste of that equanimity in this life, then in this life he will not completely liberate from the afflictions arising from existence, and will not be completely liberated. If he does not experience that taste, then in this life he will also completely liberate from the afflictions arising from existence, and will also be completely liberated. Among them, cultivating the path through the door of the antidote to the afflictions of desire, and ultimately entering into the peak of existence, and also cultivating the path through the door of the antidote to the afflictions arising from existence, and ultimately entering into the peak of existence in this way, this is the common liberation. Therefore, because there is opportunity for both noble ones and non-noble individual beings, it is not called the liberation of the noble ones. All the aggregates below the peak of existence
