In order to attain the knowledge of exhaustion from the ground of the Arhat non-learner, to truly know "mine is exhausted" as it is, and whatever worldly wisdom arises after the supramundane wisdom of learners and non-learners. What is the place of truth? It is the abandonment of afflictions upon attaining the eightfold noble path, abiding wherein suffering will never arise again in the future. Therefore, it is the place of truth because it is never forgotten. What is the place of relinquishment? It is the abandonment of things, abiding wherein, even if one enjoys the relinquished things, one will not be defiled by afflictions, and one will abide happily in this life. What is the place of near pacification? It is the meditation for abandoning the residue of things that are conducive to how the path is attained, abiding wherein one abandons all the residue of conducive things and the residue of things without exception. In summary, all these are the wisdom to be realized. Once realized, one attains the noble path with its fruit through the two fruits of abandoning afflictions and things. Among them, one enables the unawakened to awaken, the second enables the abandonment of suffering in the future, the third enables one to be endowed with happiness in this life, and the fourth enables the unfulfilled abandonment to be fulfilled. That is all, all the yogic activities of a yogi are completed. For example, the initially unawakened are awakened, or suffering will be abandoned in the future,

When one diligently and truly observes the five aggregates from the ground of an ordinary person, one abides by observing the body with the body through the distinction of internal and external. For example, for the sake of the liberation of mind and the liberation of wisdom, such a true effort abides by recognizing the aggregates as merely aggregates, and sees the aggregates as merely selfless. Relying on the power of individual examination, one will be separated from desire from all form aggregates, but the goal is not limited to this. One can also be separated by not desiring the future and not being particularly attached to the present, but not for the sake of destroying habitual tendencies. Therefore, because of being separated from desire, for the sake of the liberation of mind, it will make the mind that is separated from desire completely pure. Because the goal is not interrupted, there is a remainder of habitual tendencies that have not been abandoned, and it needs to be purified at a higher level. After that, when observing the knowable previously gathered by the six sense fields of contact, one will abide by observing feelings with feelings. As before, relying on the power of individual examination, one will be separated from desire from the aggregate of feelings, and by observing dependent origination, one will know its impermanence. As before, its goal will not be interrupted. Because of being separated from ignorance, for the sake of the liberation of wisdom, for all virtuous feelings that arise from the gathering of knowledge, that arise from contact, and that possess true mindfulness, the remaining equanimity of universal affliction abides closely, which is completely pure because of being separated from the desire that arises from the cause of feelings that arise from the gathering of ignorance and that arise from contact. Because habitual tendencies have not been abandoned, there is a remainder, and it needs to be purified at a higher level. After that, above that, when observing the eighteen mental activities, one will simultaneously abide by observing the mind and phenomena. He thinks like this: Among these eighteen mental activities, for example, the peace and liberation of the formless that transcends all forms are supreme. Some phenomena corresponding to equanimity have mental activity, and for such abundant mental activity,

If I think that if I cling to this absorption and completely pure equanimity of birth, then for that reason, my mind will completely become afflicted, so I do not cling. This is observing mind with mind. He also truly observes impermanence in those birth places, which is observing dharma with dharma. At that time, because he is separated from the three absorptions, namely the absorption of non-perception, the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, and the remaining formations of the aggregates, which is the desire of the peak of existence, he becomes separated from the desire of the form aggregate and the formation aggregate, just as before. He, holding on to the pure mind of the ordinary person's ground with the correct practice, wants to manifest the liberated mind of the learner, regarding the body, feelings, mind, and dharmas as merely dharmas, manifesting selflessness, and from all existence, making the mind even more relinquished, not thinking "I exist" or "I will not exist." He truly knows that in this, nothing will exist or not exist. Knowing thus, gradually through seeing and meditating, the mind becomes liberated from the three kinds of defilements to be abandoned. Having obtained the knowledge of exhaustion, he truly sees that after this body is destroyed, all feelings will not arise in the future. At that time, for him who has exhausted defilements, his knowledge of exhaustion is the most supreme among the realms of wisdom, because ordinary people and learners still have impurities, while he is definitely without impurities. His wisdom is also shown through the way of pointing to the truth of cessation, which is the pacification of abandoning all afflictions, and even a distracted thought cannot shake it. His liberation of mind and wisdom is like this: just like the situation of ordinary people and learners, merely distracted thoughts cannot exhaust it, because they are of the nature of distraction, while he is completely perfect.
