Therefore, one is completely liberated from the truth of suffering. Because one can attain the exhaustion of all outflows, one is liberated from the truth of origin. Because one is liberated by being weary and unattached, one realizes the truth of cessation. Because one abides by seeing impermanence and so forth, one meditates on the truth of the path. The distinctions of the basis of knowledge should be understood as being of ten kinds: the distinction of the cause of abiding for those born of conditioned phenomena related to the life faculty; the distinction of the conditioned phenomena, both with and without form, entering into mutual dependence; the distinction of the gate through which formless consciousness enters into impermanence; the distinction of the basis and place of mental afflictions; the distinction of suffering, which is the collection of all conditioned phenomena; the distinction of the gate through which one engages with the fruits of virtuous and non-virtuous actions; the distinction of the limit of the wandering of consciousness accompanied by manifest joy; the distinction of the place of attachment and anger; the distinction of the limit of the abiding from the place of birth of sentient beings' manifest joy and attachment; and the distinction of the place where the heedless go to bad migrations, which is also the limit. Furthermore, in order to obtain what is in accordance with the aspect of purification, and from the perspective of the basis to be relied upon, one should understand that there are ten distinctions: the distinction of diligence from the gate of constantly meditating on virtuous dharmas; the distinction of the place of mental liberation and wisdom liberation; the distinction of the limit of samadhi; the distinction of the limit of focusing the mind on all objects; the distinction of the means of liberation; the distinction of liberation; the distinction of truly understanding the meaning of that very thing; the distinction of learning the three trainings after fully awakening to that very thing; the distinction of learning and abiding, and of abiding happily in this life after having learned; and the distinction of the great power of the noble one's vast miraculous abilities. Based on these distinctions that have been shown, there are also questions. There are also teachings given in a way that is not definitive. There are also answers given in a definitive way.
