And, because it is extremely and completely pure, it is without contamination. That equanimity beyond that is established as the most uncontaminated. The distinctions of feelings should be understood as tenfold, namely: the distinction of truth, the distinction of the basis of entry, the distinction of self-nature, the distinction of how many there are, the distinction of the aspect of self-nature, the distinction of the gate of entry, the distinction of the gate of all afflictions, the distinction of opposing sides and antidotes, the distinction of time, and the distinction of the moment passing from one to another in succession. Some, because their intelligence is not complete, think thus: feeling is exhausted in only two, namely: pleasure and pain. That which is neither pain nor pleasure is merely distinguished by the absence of pleasure and pain, and only by considering the peace of pleasure and pain, the Blessed One has designated it. In order to explain this, the Blessed One said that there are two kinds of pleasure, namely: sensual pleasure and solitary pleasure. That solitary pleasure is also inferior, intermediate, and unsurpassed. The inferior is anything below the sphere of nothingness. The intermediate is the peak of existence. The supreme is the cessation of perception and feeling. Because it is so, it is said that the pleasure of peace is also a feeling, for example: the first dhyana, the second dhyana, and the third dhyana, etc. That which is neither pain nor pleasure is also a feeling, for example: anything above the fourth dhyana and below the peak of existence. It is also said that all peaceful feelings are completely non-existent in everything, for example: the absorption of cessation, etc. In truth, the Blessed One spoke of three kinds of peaceful pleasure, namely: in this, the mind of a monk becomes free from attachment and liberated from desire. Just as from desire, so also from hatred and delusion. If all of these are put together, they will become three kinds of pleasure, namely: the pleasure that should be completely abandoned, the pleasure of abiding that should be relied upon, and the more

The unsurpassed and eternally ultimate, which is the bliss of liberation. For that, sensual pleasure should be completely abandoned. From the first dhyana to the peak of existence, it is to be cultivated, it is the bliss of abiding with the higher and higher. Cessation attainment is to be cultivated, it is the bliss of abiding without the higher and higher. As before, these three kinds of bliss are the eternally ultimate bliss of liberation. It is not from the feeling of pleasure that it is said that cessation attainment is bliss, but it refers to the bliss of cutting off the feeling of pleasure, and what kind of supreme abiding bliss that bliss is, and from the experience of bliss. For example, some people, after arising from that samadhi, experience that they have long abided in such and such an extremely peaceful abode, this is what is meant by bliss. The bhikshu relies on what is seen, heard, bliss, consciousness, and existence, in what way to obtain the exhaustion of outflows that follows, that is the most excellent from that bliss, to the most excellent among all existences. Among them, before the view of no-self, one does not feel other views, for example, from seeing impermanence, one can obtain the exhaustion of outflows that follows, therefore it is the most excellent of all views. He relies on that view to obtain freedom from outflows through the four doors, or relies on obtaining the supreme Dharma from other places, or relies on the four ways of abiding in bliss in this life, or relies on the three kinds of consciousness Samadhi, that is, from the sphere of infinite space and above to the sphere of nothingness and below, or becoming a god, or becoming a human being. Therefore, what is heard, that bliss, that consciousness, and that craving are said to be the most excellent among what is heard, all bliss, all consciousness, and all existences. The knowable that should be completely known, that is, also completely liberated from the truth of suffering. Also liberated from the truth of the origin. The truth of cessation is also directly realized. The truth of the path is also cultivated. Therefore, only in this way can the limit of suffering be ultimately reached.
