It should be understood in this way. Among them, the eighteen elements are to be understood as being established by the distinctions of the support, object, and own-class activity of the non-form mind-element (mind-root). The six elements are to be understood as being established by the manner of the support of the place, function, and causing to function of the five form elements, namely: the four, earth, etc., are in the manner of the support of the place; the space element is in the manner of the support of the function; and the consciousness element is in the manner of the support of causing to function. The six elements of desire, malice, and harm, together with their antidotes, are established by the meaning of the support of conception and thought that are in accordance with the aspects of universal defilement and universal purification. The other six elements of pleasure, pain, joy, displeasure, equanimity, and ignorance are established by the meaning of the support of the bonds of desire, hatred, and delusion. These also arise from distorted conceptions and thoughts from improper attention, and correct conceptions and thoughts arise from proper attention. The four elements belonging to name, such as feeling, are established by the meaning of universally going to the aspects of universal defilement and universal purification of the three realms, namely: when universally defiled, they become universally defiled, and when universally purified, they become universally purified, because this is said in terms of the freedom of their impurity and purity. As before, the three realms of the desire realm, form realm, and formless realm are established by the meaning of external non-departure and departure. The other three elements of form, formless, and cessation are also established by the meaning of internal non-departure and departure. Having made the basis of external and internal departure and non-departure itself independent, the three realms of the past, future, and present are established by the meaning of the three aspects of the basis of speech of the place of hearing the sacred Dharma and non-Dharma, and proper and improper attention.

It should be known to distinguish in this way. By the meaning of fully knowing the many, medium, and few sufferings and afflictions, the three realms of evil, medium, and excellent are distinguished. What is the realm of great suffering and great affliction is evil. Medium suffering and medium affliction are medium. Small suffering and small affliction are excellent. After fully knowing the three realms of evil, medium, and excellent, by the meaning of abandoning their cause and the meaning of cultivating their antidote, it should be known to distinguish the three realms of good, non-good, and neutral in this way. By cultivating good, through various doors of purification, it should be known to distinguish the three realms of learners, non-learners, and neither learners nor non-learners, for the meaning of unbound, for the meaning of unbinding, and for the meaning of being bound. By the fruit of learners and non-learners, being commoners, common, and uncommon, possessing worldly and transworldly dharmas, it should be known to distinguish the two realms of defiled and undefiled in this way. Because of the permanence, impermanence, superior, and unsurpassed of the worldly and transworldly, it should be known to distinguish the two realms of conditioned and unconditioned in this way. By cultivating pure conduct, for approaching nirvana and ultimately attaining nirvana, therefore, there is no distinction of realms beyond this. Being skilled in places and dependent origination and what is and is not a place is like what arises from the Hearer's Ground. Among them, being skilled in what is and is not a place, briefly speaking, starting from the path of going to the five destinies and going to nirvana, if all those paths are summarized, they become three types: the evil is the one who goes to the evil destinies. The medium is the one who goes to the good destinies. The excellent is the one who goes to nirvana. Why? Those who have entered the excellence of the path to the good destinies are worldly people.

Therefore, one will attain the supreme perfection. For example, a wheel-turning king, or Indra, or a Mara, or Brahma. Other than these, whether male or female, the incomparable one, that is the state. Those who have entered the path to Nirvana will attain the supreme state of all sentient beings. For example, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and unsurpassed Bodhi. Among them, the Bodhi of the most supreme Tathagatas, throughout the entire three thousand great thousand worlds, is the unsurpassed person, especially excellent. If not so, then the merits of those who enter the inferior Bodhi are also superior to those who have attained the lordship of the world, what to say of the Tathagatas? What are those? They are the states that are the cause practiced by those with perfect views, and not the cause practiced by ordinary beings. As it is said in the sutras, it should be understood accordingly. The "Collection of Grounds" from the Yogacarabhumi, eighteenth fascicle. Summary: Nature, cause, and view, afflictions, sentient beings, liberation. Differences in entry, reason and peace, and permanence are not different. One should also understand the nature of feelings. One should also understand the cause. One should also understand the correct view of feelings. One should also understand the afflictions of feelings. One should also understand the difference between the power of the two, the sentient being who experiences feelings, who can discriminate and who cannot discriminate. Likewise, one should also understand the difference between the undelivered and the delivered. One should also understand the differences in the aspects of the entry of feelings. Whatever feeling is felt, one should also understand the reason why this is suffering here. One should also understand the complete pacification and extreme taming of feelings. One should also understand the examination of feelings in all aspects of feelings. In short, the three feelings are the nature of feelings. The three kinds of knowledge are the cause. Pleasant feeling is of the nature of change and is the basis of desire.
