Therefore, for those who turn away from this Vinaya and speak ill of it, they should return to this Vinaya again. It should be known that their words will become evil again, and spread as before. These three situations refer to the fact that in the places of other sects, the disciples of other sects regard various different views as the basis of views through tolerance. These views are completely bound by this Vinaya, and are abandoned through potential means. When abandoning through complete binding, one will not accept those things that would cause one to argue and dispute with others in this life. Recognizing that slanderous speech is harmful to oneself and others, it is abandoned through potential means. When abandoning potential habits, one will not accept other entanglements that arise from its cause. Therefore, in the places of other sects, the views held are these, for example: the world is permanent, and so on, in detail, just like this, after death it will become non-existent, or it will not become non-existent, and so on. Among them, there is one heretic who is dull and slow-witted. He does not contemplate as much as his own teacher or anyone else has taught him, but rather reveres and clings to the idea that "only this is the truth, and the others are foolish." This attitude of tolerating all views is the first basis of views. There is also one disciple of a heretic who is of medium capacity, neither dull nor slow-witted, but his own analysis, examination, and research of the Dharma are not thorough. Although he does not completely agree with the literal meaning, he still believes in any of the various different views, and does not tolerate certain views. This is the second basis of views. There is also one heretic who has a sharp nature. Because he himself is able to clearly analyze, examine, and research, he considers these views to be wrong because they are based on wrong theories. Therefore, he considers all these views to be unreasonable, and does not agree with all these views. He does not tolerate all these views. There are also two situations for this person:

One acts with wrong view, not having the intention to understand. The other acts with right view, and naturally also has the intention to understand. Among them, the first person who cannot tolerate everything, with improper inference, does not practice the well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya, therefore considers it unreasonable, and thus slanders the noble ones, viewing them as non-existent. That is to refute, destroy, and disapprove of all forms of intolerable views, thereby refuting, and possessing the form of views, clarifying and demonstrating, for example: those who hold views, and those who argue, debate, and make a living from it, this is the third reliance of views. The other person who cannot tolerate everything does not like the previous person's all intolerable views, and with a mind to understand, approaches the well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya, in front of the Tathagata or the Tathagata's Shravaka, truthfully declares himself to be intolerable of everything. The Tathagata or the Tathagata's Shravaka knows that he has the intention to understand, and because of his clear wisdom, he has great merit, knowing mind with mind, starting from the previous person, asks back: Can you not even tolerate this view of not tolerating everything? He also answers truthfully. The Tathagata praises him for being completely consistent with the Bhikshu Sangha of this Dharma and Vinaya, saying: You are consistent with many people, we are all with the view of not tolerating, not tolerating all those forms of views. If you can also, like this Sangha, completely abandon all that is entangled and latent with the reliance of views, and truthfully no longer become the cause of all future afflictions of views, then you will also be no different from him. Those like you are few. The completely intolerable view

Those who have abandoned all entanglements and predispositions and never accept them, even if they are few, are praised as extremely few. Thus, the Tathagata or the Shravaka disciple of the Tathagata arouses a desire for knowledge and vision in the disciples of the heretics, thinking, "Just as the Tathagata and the Shravaka disciples of the Tathagata possess such knowledge and vision, how can I also abandon all entanglements and predispositions?" The Tathagata, realizing that they have developed a desire for knowledge and vision, truly encourages the desire in their hearts. They also accept. The Tathagata, relying on the power of individual analysis and the antidote of the power of meditation, teaches them the Dharma so that these followers may abandon all entanglements and predispositions, abandon all entanglements and predispositions, and attain knowledge and vision. In this regard, the noble Shravaka disciple observes that those bases of views are mutually incompatible, and therefore the strife, disputes, and harm arising from their causes are detrimental to both self and others. Therefore, he does not accept everything in everything, and does not answer even when asked. Having seen such faults, he relies on the power of individual analysis to abandon all entanglements. He also abandons those bases of views and becomes the correct view, so that the bases of incorrect views will no longer arise. In order to eliminate predispositions through the abandonment of all entanglements, he cultivates the mindfulness of the aspects of the body, seeing the corporeal body as impermanent, and also completely purifies the mind from attachment to the body. He also sees the place of feeling belonging to his own continuum as impermanent through the aspect of impermanence. By completely knowing name and form as they truly are, the mind will be liberated from the outflows, and after separating from the body, he also sees that all feelings in the future life cease, abiding in the perception of the destruction of the body. As long as he lives,
