These four should be understood. One who has become a non-learner is one who has completed everything, thinking in their mind, "I have completed it," thereby knowing exhaustion and knowing non-arising. Attaining such states requires repetition three times. As before, these four should be understood. The difference lies in this: the first two of the four aspects repeated belong to the eye of wisdom of the noble learner, and the last one belongs to the non-learner. It should be understood that what is to be attained has been attained, which is unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. In order to generate definitive understanding in the minds of others and to generate faith in what one has understood oneself, for example: the venerable Ajnata-Kaundinya, having heard from the Blessed One, initially understood all the teachings of the Four Noble Truths. Even if asked, he would say, "I have understood the Dharma." Thereafter, as before, he attained the state of an Arhat with the ultimate five aspects, and also generated the wisdom of liberation. Furthermore, for others, in order to generate faith in the realization of others, for example: when Ajnata-Kaundinya generated the worldly thought, "I have understood the Dharma," the Tathagata also generated the worldly thought, "Ajnata-Kaundinya has understood the Dharma." Having learned of this, the yakshas dwelling on the earth uttered a sound, and in an instant, a moment, immediately, the sound resounded up to the Brahma world. The Blessed One also, in accordance with the mindstream of Ajnata-Kaundinya, turned the Dharma nature of understanding all things, and this Dharma nature will also turn in accordance with other beings, and those beings will also turn in accordance with other beings. Therefore, passing from one to another in succession, it is called the Wheel of Dharma of meaning that turns in accordance. Because it is the nature of the Dharma such as right view, it is the Wheel of Dharma. For example, what is called Brahma, this is the sublime speech of the Tathagata Arhat, therefore, what is turned by him is called the Wheel of Brahma. In order to manifest the Four Noble Truths that have not yet been manifested, it should be understood that there are four kinds of application, namely, in order to obtain what has not yet been obtained, generating faith, and through faith generating aspiration,

From the depths of the heart, exert effort with a longing mind, and the effort initiated should also be accompanied by skillful means. Among these, faith is complete belief; longing is the desire to attain; effort, as mentioned before, has five aspects: possessing ability, possessing diligence, possessing joy, possessing unwavering courage, and not abandoning effort. Skillful means is for the sake of being mindful, possessing mindfulness with the characteristic of not forgetting, and possessing discriminating awareness with the characteristic of recognizing the faults of carelessness and completely cutting them off, and mindfulness that is completely grasped by these two, which is to protect the mind from afflicted dharmas and to contemplate the cultivation of virtue. Disease is like the noble truth of suffering; the arising of disease is like the noble truth of origin; abandoning the arising of disease and becoming free from disease is like the noble truth of cessation; abandoning disease and not arising again later is like the noble truth of the path. The patient only needs to seek these from the doctor. The doctor also only needs to show these. Therefore, the noble truths are not five. The Tathagata, the great, unsurpassed, arrow-remover of craving, also only shows these. For those ascetics and Brahmins who do not incline towards understanding the truth, do not directly realize it, and do not possess it, it should be known that there are ten signs and faults. The true ascetics do not consider them ascetics in their minds, do not call them ascetics in words, and are not completely liberated from the suffering of being born in samsara, nor are they completely liberated from the lower realms, becoming a cause for offering training, not possessing the opportunity to manifest the supramundane human dharma, such as the path or the fruit of the path, Nirvana, abandoning the learners and non-learners from the perspective of going to happy realms, becoming a cause for seeking other objects of offering outside of this, abandoning the Tathagata from the perspective of going to Nirvana, becoming a cause for seeking external teachers outside of this, and the suffering of the non-returner suffering again.
