Because of being ignorant of the earth element (sa bya), one is entangled. Because of craving for the formless realm, one is ignorant of the knowable, and therefore completely entangled. For example, there are three people: one is blind, the second has his eyes closed, and the third has opened his eyes but they have become blurred. For the first person, he cannot see even the smallest thing at all. The second person can only see a little, like moonlight. The third person can see things, but his eyes are not clear, so he cannot see well. Similarly, one should understand covering, entangling, and completely entangling in order. Turning the wheel of Dharma should be understood as turning well in five ways. What are the five? When the Bhagavan became a Bodhisattva, what he relied on to attain enlightenment, by what method he attained it, what he attained, that which he attained will surely arise in the continuum of other beings, he himself has faith in what he has realized, and he also causes others to have faith in what others have realized. Among them, the object of focus is the Four Noble Truths, and these Four Noble Truths are like before, to be understood as explained in detail in the Sutra of the Hearer's Ground. Among them, the method is to repeat these Noble Truths three times, generating wisdom in twelve ways. At the time of enlightenment, the Bodhisattva thinks, "This is the Noble Truth of Suffering" until "This is the Noble Path," in order to abandon the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing, the manifest wisdom that arises is the birth of the eye of wisdom of the noble ones. This is also called knowing, understanding, and intelligence, respectively, according to the distinctions of past, present, and future. After such a transformation, above his learning, the Truth of Suffering that I have not fully known but need to fully know, the Truth of Origin that has not been abandoned but needs to be abandoned, the Truth of Cessation that has not been realized but needs to be realized, the Truth of the Path that has not been cultivated but needs to be cultivated, thus understanding with wisdom is repeating twice, like before, all kinds of
