Not having seen the great noble disciples of the Hearers, not guarding the Pratimoksha vows, not guarding the doors of the senses, not abiding in mindfulness, not subduing and not properly taking up the noble Dharmas corresponding to these, not dwelling in them, not being skilled in the noble truths through hearing, thinking, and meditating, therefore, for those teachings and Vinaya that are wrongly explained, one will be inclined to listen to non-holy Dharma, thinking that what is not according to the Dharma is according to the Dharma, having a reversed perception, and not truly knowing what is not according to the Dharma as it is, and not truly knowing that listening to the holy Dharma according to the Dharma is as it is. Because of not knowing, speaking wrongly and showing wrongly will become a bondage, and will not become liberation. Those Dharmas that are not suitable for attention are not known, and because they are not known, they are attended to. Dharmas that are well-spoken and well-shown will become liberation, and will not become bondage. For example, from the Sutra Pitaka and the Udanavarga, etc., whatever is suitable for extensive attention is not known, and because it is not attended to, that is also attending to what is not according to the Dharma. Attending to such Dharmas will not lead to peace, taming, and complete Nirvana, therefore it is called not according to the Dharma. Listening to non-holy Dharma is also based on the three bases of speech that show one's own side, which arise in the past, future, and present. Relying on those, one attends to those three times not according to the Dharma. From the aspect of the past time, he contemplates whether there is vigilance or non-vigilance. The future and the present are also the same. Attending to what is not according to the Dharma in this way is the object to be grasped, whether it is the object or the object to be grasped. Whatever is not according to the Dharma, it grasps the aggregates or things other than the aggregates, and clings to them as self. At the time of certain change, clinging to the object to be grasped as self, and also

Then one will obtain the view of permanence. Therefore, he will think like this: "My self exists in this life in the form of substance and permanence." Or one will become a nihilistic view. Therefore, he will think like this: "My self does not exist in this life in the form of substance and permanence." Viewing as having a self is to regard the object of clinging as a self. That is, he will think: "I see the self." Because I have a self, but I do not have it, therefore I myself see that there is no self. Viewing as no self in this life is to regard the object of clinging itself as no self. Because there is no self, there was no self before, and then a self will arise again, he will see correctly. Thus, due to the difference between the object and the subject, there will also be five kinds of inappropriate attention. For example, the five places of view that regard the aggregates of the three times as self. That is, the subsequent thought of inappropriate attention will think that there is a different self from the aggregates. For example, it is like saying "This is me." Whether one does the karma that produces the next life, or makes others do it. Or one initiates the actions of a person in this life, or makes others initiate them. Or one has done the karma that produces the next life, or made others do it, and then is the producer of the maturation fruit. The actions of a person are also initiated or made others initiate, and then correctly produce the fruit of the actions of a person. Or if others ask this question, relying on the terms of seeing, hearing, distinguishing, or recognizing, through the way of subsequently adding terms, is the speaker. Or giving appropriate or inappropriate distinctions to the groups of children and spouses such as sons, wives, servants, and maids, according to the situation, giving teachings, is the speaker. Or the fruit of karma arises in the next life, is the feeler. The fruit of the actions of a person arises correctly in this life, is the experiencer. Therefore, starting from the past time, in that life after life.
