From the perspective of examining, one should recognize that this is examining the truth of the origin. Because one understands the arising and ceasing of these two truths, if the cause arises, how does it arise? If the cause ceases, how does it cease? It is like this: through the worldly attention of the meditative ground, one fully understands as it is. When relying on this attention, by what cause can one directly realize the truth? Through the wisdom arising from previous hearing and thinking, one can well see and understand the arising of the world and the cessation of the world. Through the wisdom arising from cultivation, one can attend well. When approaching the direct realization of the truth, one can rely well from the perspective of how much there is and how it exists as it is, understand well, and combine according to the order. At that time, through the wisdom arising from hearing and thinking, one can enter this sacred Dharma. Through the wisdom arising from cultivation, one can approach entering. Through understanding the truth, it is called realizing the sacred Dharma. Because of entering and approaching entering, one can reach the depths. Because of realizing the sacred Dharma, one can fully reach the depths. The wisdom of learning is called the wisdom of the arising and cessation of the world. This is also because it is without outflows and focuses on the cause of the noble ones, so it is noble. In order to exhaust all afflictions and suffering, it will definitely arise, therefore it will definitely arise. Because it always reaches the ultimate, it will definitely be realized. If one possesses these, one will think of abandoning all the afflictions above, therefore one will do this many times, and in order to exhaust all suffering, one will definitely arise on the path of cultivation. In this way, it is explained from the ground of the initial practitioner up to the path of the fruit of the Arhat. Dependent origination and the dharmas of dependent origination are established in two parts by two causes, namely how to enter and what enters. Among them, the twelve links of existence are what enters. These also each according to their own...

Because it enters according to the order of rational cause and effect. The order of rational cause and effect, the system of transmission from one to another from beginningless time, that is the nature of Dharma. From the perspective of the present time, it is the very existence of Dharma. From the perspective of the past time, it is the very immutability of Dharma. From the perspective of the future time, it is the very suchness of Dharma. From the perspective of not being without cause, it is suchness, and the very non-erroneous suchness. From the perspective of arising from the cause of what is truly correct, it is the very truth. From the perspective of the fruit of what is truly correct, it is the very reality. From the perspective of correct knowable objects, it is the very thusness. From the perspective of the state of correct and true wisdom, it is the very non-erroneousness, and the very non-perversion. From the perspective of the place of establishing words that possess dependent origination, it is the very conformity with this dependent origination. For these two, the noble hearers who possess learned hearing, having fully understood the non-virtuous attention of the three times, also completely abandon it, and also realize the truth, and also attain separation from those who have become external views. As before, from entering to increasing, it should be known. The Tathagatas, having fully awakened to the correct entry of cause and effect, which has entered from beginningless time, passing from one to another, with wisdom, and correctly teach with speech, but are not the creators or doers. Therefore, from beginningless time, the Dharma nature that has passed from cause and effect, one after another, is inherently present, and that is the realm, lineage, and place for the purpose of establishing the system of names, sentences, and collections of letters that are in accordance with it, and those that conform to grammar. If it is said, "He does, he experiences; another does, another experiences," then it should not be answered with two reasons, what are these two reasons? Because the continuum of formations is one in terms of the connection between cause and effect, and because it is different in terms of before and after, and because the agent and experiencer different from it are not observed.
