Secondly, for example: correctly realizing pride, and in order to destroy the latent tendencies of existence, which are the root of all suffering, thus bringing suffering to an end. Gathering these together, they become the eight states that are said to be purified. Complete dwelling in solitude becomes exceedingly complete through four branches. What are the four? For example: dwelling without a companion, erecting a dwelling at the edge, is bodily solitude; being mindful of dwelling in a house, of signs arising from the locality, of thoughts, of desires, and of harmful thoughts, and thereby guarding the mind, is mental solitude; having power to quickly attain higher knowledge by initiating diligence in five ways, that is, being endowed with the armor of diligence and diligence, that is, the diligence of application and joy, the diligence of not being daunted by the vast Dharma, and being steadfastly courageous, the diligence of not being disturbed by cold, heat, mosquitoes, long-beaked flies, and so forth, and not abandoning diligence, that is, the diligence of not being content with little. Applying the proximate afflictions of the aspects of calm abiding and insight in order, abandoning drowsiness, sleep, excitement, and regret, and genuinely entering into calm abiding and insight in a way that is not wasteful. These three are the perfection of the well-spoken Vinaya, what are the three? The perfection of diligent practice, the perfection of the fruit, and the perfection of the teacher. Among these, the perfection of diligent practice is that in order to attain abandonment, detachment, and the realm of cessation, and in order to realize them, one listens to the Dharma and also teaches it to others, and one's self also engages in diligent practice in accordance with the Dharma, this is the perfection of diligent practice. What is the perfection of the fruit? It is that by relying on diligent practice in accordance with the Dharma, the mind becomes completely liberated, and in that very life one attains Nirvana, this is the perfect fruit.

Not assembled. Among them, the perfect teacher is the root of celibacy and all dharmas, the Bhagavan. He initiated and followed that conduct. If the Tathagata appears, then those teachings will exist. Therefore, the root of those is the Bhagavan. Having appeared, he also saw the need to tame them and taught them. For what reason does this holy Dharma practice come down from teacher to student, one after another, therefore it possesses the conduct of the Bhagavan. Thus, having entered into the practice of Dharma, all doubts that arise follow only the Bhagavan, therefore they are followers of the Bhagavan. The speaker of Dharma has two aspects, through the gate of scripture and realization, namely teaching after hearing from others, and learning and not learning. The teacher bestows the word "good" at the three times when entering properly, namely at the time of manifest action, and at the time of coming directly, and at the time of questioning. In summary: Types of mindfulness, signs of children, eyes and benefits, changes, nine kinds of knowledge, not forgetting me, going into differences, differences in self-view, the nature of fabrication, three types. Sutras of Dharma, etc., vast categories, not the last. These five are the ways to meditate on the perception of impermanence on fabrications, namely: impermanence, instability, non-permanence, untrustworthiness, and the nature of change. Among them, because they are destroyed in every moment, they are impermanent. Because they dwell in the body related to the definite measure of life, they are unstable. Even outsiders are certain that they will not live longer than one kalpa, so they are non-permanent. Before reaching the end of life, it is also possible to be destroyed by the causes of untimely death, so they are untrustworthy. For as long as samsara exists, there is no certain happiness, therefore it has the nature of change. These three are the signs of children. What are the three? Children thus perceive the five kinds of impermanence of fabrications
